حركة شبابية تقدّمية تأسست في شكل جمعية مستقلة في 31 أيّار/مايو 2015، تعنى بفئة الشباب وتسعى من خلال مشاريعها إلى إدماجهم في الحياة العامة ودعم ثقافة الحوار بينهم، كما تهدف إلى تعزيز قدراتهم الفنية في قطاع الفنون الأدائية والبصرية ومساعدتهم على تطوير تجاربهم وإتاحة الفرص أمامهم.
تشرف الجمعية منذ 2020 على مركز ثقافي نموذجي بمدينة قابس جنوب تونس ويعتبر المركز أول حاضنة ثقافية بديلة في الجهة
تسعى إلى أن تكون نواة آمنة للشباب لاكتساب خبرات من خلال طرق وأساليب بديلة وعصرية تتماشى مع طموحات الجمعية في هذه المرحلة، كما يسهر المركز على تكريس مبدأ اللامركزية الثقافية وإتاحة الفرص للفئات المستهدفة ليكونوا قادة ورائدين في المجالات التي تسعى لتحقيق التمكين الاقتصادي والاجتماعي لهم على مستوى محلي، جهوي وإقليمي.
الرؤية
نتطلع إلى مجتمع تونسي متماسك ومتنوع يساهم في خلق مساحات ثقافية رائدة في الصناعات الثقافية والإبداعية تؤمن بحق المواطنين والمواطنات في المناطق المهمشة والصعبة من الولوج للثقافة من خلال دعم منظومة اللامركزية الحقيقة، يوظف فيها الفن كوسيلة للمقاومة في ظل التحولات الجيوسياسية في المنطقة العربية.

المساهمة في خلق بيئة ثقافية حيوية في المناطق الصعبة والمهمشة تساعد على تحقيق العدالة والمساواة بين كل التونسيين والتونسيات ++
البرامج
تعتمد الراقصون المواطنون الجنوب في رؤيتها الاستراتيجية على 4 برامج:
المعسكرات الفنية والانتاج الفني المشترك: وهو برنامج يسعى إلى تحقيق اللامركزية الثقافية الحقيقية من خلال فتح مساحات امنة ومشتركة للفنانين الشبان في المناطق الصعبة والوعرة مع مجموعة من الفنانين المحترفين في المنطقة العربية والعالم لتبادل الخبرات وتطوير المهارات في مجال الفنون الأدائية والبصرية. وتوجه الانتاجات المشتركة لفائدة المجتمعات المحلية المحرومة من أبسط المرافق. فالبرنامج هو عبارة عن جسر عبور من الهواية إلى الاحتراف الفني يسعى إلى تكرس حق كل الفئات في كل الجهات من الولوج للثقافة والإبداع الفني.
ريادة الأعمال الفنية والإبداعية: تساهم في الاستثمار في قطاع الصناعات الثقافية والإبداعية موجهة لفئة الشباب والنساء من خلال التشجيع على الابتكار والإبداع في تطوير المشهد الثقافي التونسي، ويعتمد هذا البرنامج على التدريب، بناء القدرات ومرافقة الفنانين المستقلين، المبادرات والمجموعات المستقلة الناشئة المتمركزة داخل المناطق الصعبة والمهمشة لضمان استمراريتها وتقديم منح صغيرة ومتوسطة الحجم كذلك توفير مساحات مستدامة وآمنة صلب المركز الثقافي النموذجي الذي تشرف عليه الراقصون المواطنون الجنوب للتمتع بجودة الخدمات وبناء القدرات.
الحقوق والحريات الفردية: يستند هذا البرنامج على تفعيل المناصرة الثقافية كآلية لكسب التأييد والحشد حول القضايا الاقتصادية والاجتماعية من خلال خلق مساحات مشتركة بين النشطاء الحقوقيين، الفنانين ومنظمات المجتمع المدني بهدف إحداث تغييرات جزئية على مستوى محلي، جهوي ووطني.
حرية التعبير والإعلام البديل: يسعى لرفع التحديات ورفض كل أشكال الرقابة وتوفير ارضية مشتركة بين كل العاملين والعاملات في الحقل الثقافي للتعبير عن آرائهم وأفكارهم بكل حرية وتقديم محتوى بديل لمكافحة كل أشكال التهميش الاقتصادي والاجتماعي والمطالبة بالعدالة الاجتماعية والمساواة.

We are Dancers Citizens South, a progressive youth movement, created as an independent association on May 31, 2015. It is interested in youth and seeks, through its projects, to integrate them into public life and perpetuate individual rights and freedoms, strengthening their artistic capacities in the performing and visual arts sector, helping them to develop their experiences, providing them with opportunities, and contributing to the creation of a lively and participatory cultural scene to support true decentralization in difficult and marginalized areas. Our vision is that we aspire to a cohesive and diverse Tunisian society that believes in freedom and democracy, which allows us to contribute to enriching the Tunisian cultural scene, to enshrine the principle of decentralization and to use art and culture as a means of resistance in light of geopolitical transformations in the Arab region. Our mission is to contribute to the creation of a vibrant cultural ecosystem in difficult and marginalized areas that helps achieve justice and equality among all Tunisians. Dancers Citizens South base its strategic vision on 4 programs:
Art Boot camps and collaborative artistic production: This program aims to achieve true cultural decentralization by
opening safe and shared spaces for young artists in difficult and marginal areas with a group of professional artists in the
Arab region and the world to exchange experiences and develop performance and visual arts skills. The joint productions
serve the benefit of the local disadvantaged communities lacking the simplest facilities. The program is a bridge from hobby
to professional art that aims to preserve the right of all groups in all aspects of access to culture and artistic creation. Artistic and Creative Entrepreneurship: The Creative Business Incubation program aims to invest in the cultural and
creative industries sector, targeting young men and women, by encouraging innovation and creativity in the development of
the Tunisian cultural scene. This program is based on training, capacity building and supporting independent artists,
emerging independent initiatives, and groups based in underprivileged and marginalized areas to ensure their sustainability
and provide small and medium-sized grants, as well as providing sustainable and secure spaces for the Dancers Citizens
South to enjoy quality services and build capacities. Individual rights and freedoms: This program is based on activating cultural activism as a mechanism for gaining support
and mobilization around economic and social issues by creating shared spaces among human rights activists, artists, and
civil society organizations with the goal of creating incremental change at the local, regional, and national level. Freedom of expression and alternative media: This program aims to address challenges and reject all forms of censorship
and provide a shared platform for all workers in the cultural field to express their opinions and ideas freely, and present
alternative content to combat all forms of economic and social marginalization, and demand social justice and equality.
