🇹🇳🌊 مدرسة البحر – اكتشاف المساحة البحرية والساحلية المحمية رأس الرمل 🇫🇷🤝🇹🇳

في إطار الدورة الثالثة من مدرسة البحر، واصل شباب جمعية جليج للبيئة البحرية (AJEM)، إلى جانب الكشافة الفرنسية، برنامج التبادل والتعاون من خلال سلسلة من الأنشطة العلمية والتوعوية الهادفة إلى اكتشاف المساحة البحرية والساحلية المحمية رأس الرمل – جربة، والتعرّف على ثرائها الطبيعي وجهود المحافظة على تنوعها البيولوجي.

استُهلّت الأنشطة بتقديم المساحة البحرية والساحلية المحمية رأس الرمل، حيث تعرّف المشاركون على خصائصها البيئية، وتنوّع موائلها الطبيعية، وأهم الأنواع النباتية والحيوانية التي تحتضنها، إلى جانب مبادئ التسيير التشاركي المعتمد بين جمعية جليج للبيئة البحرية (AJEM) ووكالة حماية وتهيئة الشريط الساحلي (APAL).

كما مثّل هذا اللقاء فرصة لتبادل النقاش حول الدور الذي تضطلع به المساحات البحرية والساحلية المحمية في صون التنوع البيولوجي، وحماية الموائل الطبيعية، وضمان استدامة الموارد البحرية والساحلية.

وتعرّف المشاركون كذلك على تاريخ جمعية جليج للبيئة البحرية ورسالتها وأبرز مشاريعها، قبل زيارة الإيكوكابان (Écocabane)، وهو فضاء بيداغوجي للتوعية البيئية يوفّر تجربة تفاعلية لاكتشاف التنوع البيولوجي البحري والساحلي بجزيرة جربة، ويبرز أهمية المحافظة على هذا الإرث الطبيعي.

واختُتمت الأنشطة بحصة توعوية حول نبات البوسيدونيا (Posidonia oceanica)، تعرّف خلالها المشاركون على دوره المحوري في حماية الشريط الساحلي، والمحافظة على جودة المياه، وتوفير موائل طبيعية للعديد من الكائنات البحرية.

🌍 ساهمت هذه الأنشطة في تعزيز معارف المشاركين حول التراث الطبيعي لجزيرة جربة، وترسيخ قيم المحافظة على البيئة، وتشجيعهم على الإسهام في حماية النظم البيئية البحرية والساحلية.

تندرج هذه الأنشطة ضمن تنفيذ أنشطة التصرف في المساحة البحرية والساحلية المحمية رأس الرمل – جربة، الذي تنفذه جمعية جليج للبيئة البحرية (AJEM) بالشراكة مع وكالة حماية وتهيئة الشريط الساحلي (APAL)، وبدعم مالي من The MedFund.

🇬🇧🌊 Sea School – Discovering the Ras Rmal Marine and Coastal Protected Area 🇫🇷🤝🇹🇳

As part of the 3rd edition of the Sea School, young members of the Association Jlij for the Marine Environment (AJEM), together with the French Scouts, continued their exchange and cooperation programme through a series of educational and awareness-raising activities aimed at discovering the Ras Rmal Marine and Coastal Protected Area (MCPA) – Djerba and exploring its exceptional natural heritage and biodiversity conservation efforts.

The programme began with an introduction to the Ras Rmal Marine and Coastal Protected Area, where participants learned about its ecological characteristics, the diversity of its natural habitats, and the wide range of plant and animal species it supports. They were also introduced to the co-management approach implemented by the Association Jlij for the Marine Environment (AJEM) in partnership with the Coastal Protection and Planning Agency (APAL).

The activities also provided an opportunity to discuss the vital role of Marine and Coastal Protected Areas in conserving biodiversity, protecting natural habitats, and ensuring the sustainable management of marine and coastal resources.

Participants further discovered the history, mission, and key environmental initiatives of AJEM before visiting the Écocabane, an educational facility designed to raise environmental awareness through interactive experiences showcasing Djerba's marine and coastal biodiversity and highlighting the importance of preserving this unique natural heritage.

The programme concluded with an educational session on Posidonia oceanica, during which participants explored its essential role in protecting coastlines, maintaining water quality, and providing vital habitats for numerous marine species.

🌍 These activities strengthened participants' knowledge of Djerba's natural heritage, reinforced environmental responsibility, and encouraged them to actively contribute to the conservation of marine and coastal ecosystems.

🇹🇳🌊 ملخص اليومين الأول والثاني من مخيم مدرسة البحر 🇫🇷🤝🇹🇳

في إطار مخيم مدرسة البحر المنظم بالمنطقة البحرية والساحلية المحمية رأس الرمل – جربة، استقبل فريق التسيير التشاركي للمنطقة البحرية والساحلية المحمية رأس الرمل (AJEM–APAL)، بمشاركة فعّالة من لجنة الشباب التابعة لجمعية جليج للبيئة البحرية (AJEM)، مجموعةً من الكشافة الفرنسية ضمن برنامج يجمع بين التوعية البيئية، والتكوين العلمي، والتطبيقات الميدانية، بهدف التعريف بالتراث الطبيعي للمنطقة المحمية وتعزيز الوعي بأهمية المحافظة عليه.

📅 اليوم الأول

انطلق المخيم باستقبال المشاركين وتنظيم أنشطة تعارف ساهمت في تعزيز روح الفريق. إثر ذلك، شارك المشاركون في حصة توعوية وتكوينية حول السلاحف البحرية في تونس، تناولت بيولوجيتها، وأهميتها البيئية، وأبرز التهديدات التي تواجهها، إلى جانب بروتوكولات المتابعة العلمية وأفضل الممارسات الواجب اتباعها أثناء عمليات الرصد الميداني.

كما تم خلال هذه الحصة الإعداد لعملية الاستكشاف العلمي المبرمجة لليوم الموالي.

📅 اليوم الثاني

مع ساعات الصباح الأولى، شارك المشاركون في عملية استكشاف ميدانية بشاطئ سيدي الحشاني، داخل المنطقة البحرية والساحلية المحمية رأس الرمل، بهدف تطبيق المعارف المكتسبة خلال التكوين.

وقد مكّنت هذه الخرجة العلمية المشاركين من التعرف على منهجية البحث عن مؤشرات وجود السلاحف البحرية، وفهم بروتوكولات المتابعة العلمية المعتمدة داخل المنطقة المحمية، وإبراز أهمية هذه العمليات في دعم جهود المحافظة على هذا النوع.

🌍 يهدف مخيم مدرسة البحر إلى تعزيز معارف الشباب حول التنوع البيولوجي البحري، وتقريبهم من تقنيات الرصد والمتابعة العلمية، وتشجيعهم على المساهمة في حماية النظم البيئية البحرية والساحلية.

🇬🇧🌊 Highlights from the First Two Days of the École de la Mer Camp 🇫🇷🤝🇹🇳

As part of the École de la Mer Camp, organized within the Ras Rmal Marine and Coastal Protected Area (Djerba), the Ras Rmal MPA co-management team (AJEM–APAL), with the active participation of the Youth Committee of the Jlij Association for the Marine Environment (AJEM), welcomed a group of French Scouts for a programme combining environmental awareness, scientific training, and field-based learning to promote the conservation of the protected area's natural heritage.

📅 Day 1

The camp began with a welcome session and team-building activities to encourage interaction among participants. This was followed by a training and awareness session on marine turtles in Tunisia, covering their biology, ecological importance, the main threats they face, as well as the scientific monitoring protocols and best practices to be followed during field monitoring activities.

The session also included the preparation of the scientific field survey scheduled for the following day.

📅 Day 2

Early in the morning, participants carried out a scientific field survey at Sidi Hacheni Beach, within the Ras Rmal Marine and Coastal Protected Area, to put into practice the knowledge acquired during the training.

This field activity introduced participants to the methods used to search for signs of marine turtle presence, provided practical experience with the scientific monitoring protocols implemented within the protected area, and highlighted the importance of these surveys in supporting marine turtle conservation.

🌍 Through the École de la Mer Camp, young participants strengthen their understanding of marine biodiversity, discover scientific monitoring techniques, and become actively engaged in the conservation of marine and coastal ecosystems.

These activities are implemented as part of the management activities of the Ras Rmal Marine and Coastal Protected Area (Djerba), carried out by the Jlij Association for the Marine Environment (AJEM) in partnership with the Coastal Protection and Planning Agency (APAL), with financial support from The MedFund.

في إطار مشروع GoInAMP-MED المنجز من طرف الوكالة الوطنية لحماية المحيط (ANPE)، استقبل فريق العمل المشترك بين جمعية جليج للبيئة البحرية (AJEM) ووكالة حماية وتهيئة الشريط الساحلي (APAL) وفدًا يضم ممثلين عن وزارة البيئة، والوكالة الوطنية لحماية المحيط، إلى جانب ممثلين عن عدد من المحميات البحرية والجمعيات البيئية من تونس وصقلية، وذلك ضمن برنامج الزيارة الميدانية للمشروع.

🏢 وقد شكل هذا اللقاء فرصة للتعريف بجمعية جليج للبيئة البحرية، وأبرز مجالات تدخلها ومشاريعها في مجال المحافظة على البيئة البحرية والساحلية بجزيرة جربة، إلى جانب التعريف بالمساحة البحرية والساحلية المحمية برأس الرمل – جربة.

🌊 إثر تحول الوفد إلى المساحة البحرية والساحلية المحمية برأس الرمل، قدمت السيدة مروى دومة، ممثلة إدارة التصرف في المنظومات الساحلية بجنوب البلاد التونسية والمساحات البحرية والساحلية المحمية بوكالة حماية وتهيئة الشريط الساحلي، عرضًا تعريفيًا حول المساحة البحرية والساحلية المحمية برأس الرمل – جربة، استعرضت خلاله أهم مكوناتها الطبيعية، وقيمتها البيئية، وآليات التصرف والحوكمة المعتمدة بها.

📋 كما قدم السيد أحمد شاهين بن رمضان، منسق مشروع التصرف المشترك بالمساحة البحرية والساحلية المحمية برأس الرمل، والممول من طرف The MedFund، عرضًا حول برنامج التصرف، وأبرز الأنشطة المنجزة، والأصناف المستهدفة ببرامج المتابعة العلمية.

🌿 كما قدم السيد معز الحرابي، ممثل الإدارة العامة للغابات، مداخلة تناول فيها التصنيفات والاعترافات الدولية التي يحظى بها موقع رأس الرمل، ولا سيما تصنيفه كموقع رامسار ضمن قائمة الأراضي الرطبة ذات الأهمية الدولية، إلى جانب التعريف بأهمية الغطاء النباتي بالمحمية ودوره في دعم التنوع البيولوجي والمحافظة على التوازن البيئي وصون الموائل الطبيعية.

🐦 كما قدم السيد محمد علي شكري، الخبير في علم الطيور، عرضًا حول الطيور البحرية التي تحتضنها المساحة البحرية والساحلية المحمية برأس الرمل، وأهميتها البيئية، والجهود المبذولة للمحافظة عليها.

🚶‍♂️ ومثلت الجولة الميدانية داخل المساحة البحرية والساحلية المحمية برأس الرمل فرصة اطلع خلالها المشاركون على أهم الموائل الطبيعية والأنواع التي يحتضنها الموقع، كما أتاحت تبادل الخبرات والتجارب، ومناقشة أفضل الممارسات في مجال إدارة وحوكمة المحميات البحرية والساحلية.

As part of the GoInAMP-MED project, implemented by the National Agency for Environmental Protection (ANPE), the joint team of the Jlij Association for Marine Environment (AJEM) and the Coastal Protection and Planning Agency (APAL) welcomed a delegation including representatives of the Ministry of Environment, the National Agency for Environmental Protection (ANPE), as well as representatives of several Marine Protected Areas and environmental associations from Tunisia and Sicily, within the framework of the project's field visit programme.

🏢 The meeting provided an opportunity to introduce the Jlij Association for Marine Environment (AJEM), highlighting its mission and activities in the conservation of Djerba's marine and coastal environment, as well as presenting the Ras Rmal Djerba Marine and Coastal Protected Area (MCPA).

🌊 During the visit to the Ras Rmal Marine and Coastal Protected Area, Ms. Maroua Douma, representing the Department of Coastal Ecosystem Management in Southern Tunisia – Marine and Coastal Protected Areas Unit at the Coastal Protection and Planning Agency (APAL), delivered a presentation on the protected area, highlighting its key natural features, ecological value, and the governance and management approach adopted at the site.

📋 Mr. Ahmed Chahine Ben Romdhane, Coordinator of the Co-management Programme for the Ras Rmal Marine and Coastal Protected Area, funded by The MedFund, presented the protected area's management programme, its main activities, and the priority species targeted through the scientific monitoring programme.

🌿 Mr. Moez Harabi, representative of the General Directorate of Forests (DGF), delivered a presentation on the international recognitions of the Ras Rmal site, particularly its designation as a Ramsar Site (Wetland of International Importance), while highlighting the importance of the protected area's vegetation cover in maintaining ecological balance, supporting biodiversity, and conserving natural habitats.

🐦 Mr. Mohamed Ali Chokri, ornithology expert, presented the marine bird species hosted by the Ras Rmal Marine and Coastal Protected Area, emphasizing their ecological importance and the ongoing conservation efforts dedicated to their protection.

🚶‍♂️ The field visit offered participants the opportunity to discover the site's main natural habitats and biodiversity while providing a valuable platform for exchanging experiences and discussing best practices in the governance and management of Marine and Coastal Protected Areas.

🙏 The Jlij Association for Marine Environment extends its sincere gratitude to the National Agency for Environmental Protection (ANPE), the representatives of Marine Protected Areas and environmental associations from Tunisia and Sicily, as well as to the joint AJEM–APAL team for the excellent coordination of the visit. 🌿🏨 في إطار تعزيز السياحة المستدامة وتثمين التنوع البيولوجي
المحلي، وضمن تنفيذ أنشطة المساحة البحرية والساحلية المحمية برأس الرمل – جربة، نظمت جمعية جليج للبيئة البحرية (AJEM)، بالشراكة مع وكالة حماية وتهيئة الشريط الساحلي (APAL)، سلسلة من الأنشطة التحسيسية الموجهة أساسًا إلى السياح وزوار الجزيرة، وذلك بكل من نزلي Iberostar Waves Mehari Djerbaو ROYAL Garden Palace Djerba.

🌊 وتهدف هذه المبادرات إلى تقريب السياح من ثراء التراث الطبيعي لجزيرة جربة، والتعريف بأهمية المحافظة على النظم البيئية الساحلية والبحرية، خاصة ما تزخر به منطقة رأس الرمل من تنوع بيولوجي فريد، يشمل السلاحف البحرية، والطيور البحرية، ومروج البوسيدونيا التي تمثل ركيزة أساسية للتوازن البيئي البحري.

🛖 ومن خلال Eco Cabane، الفضاء التفاعلي المتنقل، تم تقديم تجربة تعليمية مبسطة وممتعة مكّنت الزوار من التعرف على مكونات البيئة البحرية والساحلية، وفهم دورهم كشركاء في المحافظة على هذا التراث الطبيعي، بما يعزز ممارسات السياحة المسؤولة.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 وقد ساهمت هذه الأنشطة في خلق فضاء تفاعلي يجمع بين الترفيه والتوعية، ويعزز ارتباط السياح بالمحيط الطبيعي المحلي، بما يدعم صورة جربة كوجهة سياحية بيئية مستدامة.

🤝 وفي هذا الإطار، تعززت هذه الديناميكية بإمضاء اتفاقية شراكة مع نزل Djerba Sun Beach, Hotel & Spa ، في خطوة تهدف إلى توسيع نطاق الأنشطة التحسيسية داخل المؤسسات السياحية، وتعزيز انخراط القطاع السياحي في تثمين التراث الطبيعي والبحري للمساحة البحرية والساحلية المحمية برأس الرمل.

🌿🏨 As part of promoting sustainable tourism and enhancing local biodiversity, and within the framework of the activities of the Ras Rmal Djerba Marine and Coastal Protected Area (MCPA), the Jlij Association for Marine Environment (AJEM), in partnership with the Coastal Protection and Planning Agency (APAL), organized a series of environmental awareness activities primarily targeting tourists and visitors to the island at El Mehari Hotel and Royal Garden Palace.

🌊 These initiatives aimed to bring visitors closer to Djerba's rich natural heritage and raise awareness about the importance of conserving coastal and marine ecosystems, particularly the exceptional biodiversity of the Ras Rmal Protected Area, including sea turtles, marine birds, and Posidonia seagrass meadows, which play a vital role in maintaining the ecological balance of marine ecosystems.

🛖 Through the Blue Eco Cabin, an interactive mobile educational space, visitors enjoyed an engaging learning experience that introduced them to the richness of the marine and coastal environment while encouraging them to become active partners in preserving this unique natural heritage through responsible tourism practices.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 These awareness activities created an interactive space combining education and entertainment, strengthening visitors' connection with the local natural environment and contributing to Djerba's image as a sustainable eco-tourism destination.

🤝 As part of this dynamic, a new partnership agreement was signed with Djerba Sun Beach Hotel & Spa, marking another step toward expanding environmental awareness activities within tourism establishments and strengthening the tourism sector's contribution to promoting the natural and marine heritage of the Ras Rmal Marine and Coastal Protected Area.

🙏 AJEM sincerely thanks all its tourism partners for their commitment and valuable support in promoting marine conservation and sustainable tourism.

🌿📚 في إطار تنفيذ أنشطة مشروع دعم التصرف الفعّال في المساحة البحرية والساحلية المحمية برأس الرمل جربة، المنفذ بالشراكة بين وكالة حماية وتهيئة الشريط الساحلي (APAL) وجمعية جليج للبيئة البحرية (AJEM)، والممول من طرف صندوق التمويل المستدام للمساحات المحمية البحرية بالمتوسط The MedFund، وحرصاً منها على ترسيخ التربية البيئية بالمؤسسات التربوية، أبرمت جمعية جليج للبيئة البحرية اتفاقية تعاون وشراكة مع المندوبية الجهوية للتربية بمدنين، تم في إطارها تنظيم سلسلة من الأنشطة التحسيسية والتربوية لفائدة تلاميذ عدد من المؤسسات التربوية بجربة، بهدف التعريف بالمحمية البحرية والساحلية رأس الرمل وأهمية المحافظة على مكوناتها الطبيعية والتنوع البيولوجي الذي تزخر به.

🏫 شملت هذه الأنشطة زيارتين إلى المدرسة الابتدائية الماي، تمثلت الأولى في حصص تحسيسية داخل الأقسام، فيما خُصصت الزيارة الثانية لتنشيط الـ Blue Eco Cabin كفضاء بيداغوجي متنقل وتفاعلي مكّن التلاميذ من اكتشاف مكونات البيئة البحرية والساحلية بطريقة مبسطة وتفاعلية.

🌊 كما تم تنظيم نشاط تحسيسي وتربوي لفائدة تلاميذ المعهد الفرنسي الدولي "فيكتور هوغو" بجربة، مكّن المشاركين من التعرف على المحمية البحرية والساحلية رأس الرمل واكتشاف ثراء التنوع البيولوجي الذي تزخر به، مع التوعية بأهمية المحافظة على البيئة البحرية والساحلية.

🏡 وفي إطار تعزيز التربية البيئية والتواصل مع مختلف المؤسسات التربوية، استقبلت جمعية جليج للبيئة البحرية بمقرها تلاميذ مدرسة "Nouvelles Générations"، حيث تم تنظيم أنشطة تفاعلية وتوعوية مكّنتهم من التعرف على أهمية المحافظة على البيئة البحرية والساحلية ودور كل فرد في حمايتها.

🐢🦩🌱 وقد مكّنت هذه الأنشطة التلاميذ من اكتشاف ثراء التنوع البيولوجي بالمحمية البحرية والساحلية رأس الرمل، والتعرف على عدد من الأنواع والموائل الطبيعية المميزة للموقع، من بينها السلاحف البحرية وأهمية المحافظة على مواقع تعشيشها، والطيور البحرية المقيمة والمهاجرة، والغطاء النباتي الساحلي ودوره في المحافظة على التوازن البيئي، إلى جانب التعرف على أنواع أخرى تمثل جزءاً من التراث الطبيعي البحري والساحلي للموقع.

👧🧒 وقد ساهمت هذه المبادرات في تعزيز الوعي البيئي لدى عدد هام من التلاميذ، ووفرت فضاءات للتعلم والاكتشاف والتبادل، بما يرسخ ثقافة بيئية مسؤولة لدى الأجيال الناشئة ويعزز ارتباطهم ببيئتهم وتراثهم الطبيعي.

🙏 كما تتقدم جمعية جليج للبيئة البحرية بجزيل الشكر إلى السيد رضا زروق، صاحب شركة Mosaique Web، على مساهمته القيّمة في تصميم وإنجاز الـ Blue Eco Cabin، التي مثّلت دعامة أساسية لإنجاح العديد من الأنشطة التحسيسية والتربوية الموجهة للأطفال والناشئة.

📍وتأتي هذه الأنشطة في إطار الجهود الرامية إلى تعزيز التربية البيئية والتعريف بالتراث الطبيعي والبحري لدى الناشئة، بما ينسجم مع أهداف مشروع "Blue Tourism Initiative" الممول من طرف الاتحاد الدولي لحفظ الطبيعة (IUCN)، والهادف إلى دعم السياحة المستدامة وتثمين المواقع الطبيعية والمحافظة عليها.

🌿📚 As part of the implementation of the project “Support for
the Effective Management of the Ras Rmal Djerba Marine and Coastal Protected Area”, carried out in partnership between the Coastal Protection and Planning Agency (APAL) and the Jlij Association for Marine Environment (AJEM), and funded by The MedFund, the sustainable financing fund for Mediterranean Marine Protected Areas, AJEM signed a cooperation and partnership agreement with the Regional Directorate of Education of Medenine to strengthen environmental education among younger generations.

Within this framework, a series of awareness-raising and educational activities was organized for pupils from several educational institutions in Djerba, with the aim of introducing them to the Ras Rmal Marine and Coastal Protected Area and raising awareness about the importance of preserving its natural heritage and rich biodiversity.

🏫 These activities included two visits to El May Primary School. The first consisted of awareness sessions held inside classrooms, while the second focused on the Blue Eco Cabin, an interactive and mobile educational space that enabled pupils to discover marine and coastal ecosystems through engaging and hands-on activities.

🌊 An environmental awareness activity was also organized for students of the Lycée Français International Victor Hugo Djerba allowing participants to learn about the Ras Rmal Marine and Coastal Protected Area, discover its remarkable biodiversity, and better understand the importance of protecting marine and coastal environments.

🏡 As part of strengthening environmental education and cooperation with educational institutions, the Jlij Association for Marine Environment welcomed pupils from Groupe Scolaire International Les Nouvelles Générationsto its headquarters, where interactive educational activities were organized to raise awareness about the importance of preserving marine and coastal ecosystems and the role of each individual in protecting them.

🐢🦩🌱 Through these activities, pupils had the opportunity to discover the rich biodiversity of the Ras Rmal Marine and Coastal Protected Area and learn about several emblematic species and habitats, including sea turtles and the importance of protecting their nesting sites, resident and migratory bird species, coastal vegetation and its ecological role, as well as other species that form part of the area's valuable natural heritage.

👧🧒 These initiatives contributed to strengthening environmental awareness among a large number of pupils and provided valuable opportunities for learning, discovery, and exchange, helping to foster environmental responsibility among younger generations and strengthen their connection with their natural heritage.

🌿📚 بمناسبة اليوم العالمي للبيئة، نظّمت جمعية جليج للبيئة البحرية ووكالة حماية وتهيئة الشريط الساحلي (APAL) والمدرسة الفرنسية الدولية "Victor Hugo" يوماً تحسيسياً وتربوياً بالشاطئ العمومي سيدي الحشاني بالمحمية البحرية والساحلية رأس الرمل جربة، حيث جمع النشاط التلاميذ وإطارهم التربوي في تجربة ميدانية للتعرف على أهمية المحافظة على البيئة البحرية والساحلية والتنوع البيولوجي.

🌊 تضمن البرنامج ورشة تفاعلية داخل الـ Blue Eco Cabane تم خلالها التعريف بأهمية التنوع البيولوجي البحري ودور مختلف الكائنات البحرية في المحافظة على توازن النظم البيئية. كما شكّلت هذه الورشة فرصة للنقاش والتبادل مع المشاركين والإجابة عن تساؤلاتهم، مما ساهم في تعزيز فهمهم لأهمية حماية البيئة البحرية والمحافظة على ثرواتها الطبيعية.

🦩 كما شملت الأنشطة مراقبة الطيور البحرية والتعرف على بعض الأنواع المقيمة والمهاجرة، إضافة إلى التعريف بأهمية الغطاء النباتي الساحلي ودوره في المحافظة على التوازن البيئي.

🐢 وفي إطار أنشطة التربية البيئية، تم تقديم عرض تطبيقي حول السلاحف البحرية وأهمية المحافظة على مواقع تعشيشها بالشواطئ، حيث تعرّف المشاركون على كيفية تمييز آثارها على الرمال وفهم الجهود المبذولة لحماية هذا النوع والمحافظة على التنوع البيولوجي البحري.

♻️ واختُتم النشاط بحملة تنظيف للشاطئ، أعقبها تطبيق عملي لفرز النفايات البلاستيكية المجمعة حسب أنواعها، مما مكّن المشاركين من التعرف على أهمية الفرز في الحد من التلوث ودعم جهود إعادة التدوير والمحافظة على البيئة البحرية والساحلية

🌿📚 On the occasion of World Environment Day, the Jlij Association for Marine Environment (AJEM), Agence de Protection et d'Aménagement du Littoral, and the Lycée Français International Victor Hugo Djerba organized an environmental awareness and educational field day at the public beach of Sidi Hachani within the Ras Rmal Marine and Coastal Protected Area in Djerba. The activity brought together students and their teaching staff in a field-based learning experience focused on the importance of protecting marine and coastal environments and conserving biodiversity.

🌊 The program included an interactive workshop within the Blue Eco Cabne, highlighting the importance of marine biodiversity and the role of different species in maintaining ecosystem balance. The session also provided an opportunity for discussion and exchange with participants, helping to strengthen their understanding of the importance of protecting the marine environment and preserving its natural resources.

🦩 Participants also took part in birdwatching activities, learning to identify several resident and migratory species, while discovering the ecological importance of coastal vegetation and its role in maintaining environmental balance.

🐢 As part of the environmental education activities, a practical demonstration focused on marine turtles and the importance of protecting their nesting sites. Participants learned how to recognize turtle tracks on the beach and gained insight into ongoing conservation efforts aimed at protecting this species and marine biodiversity.

♻️ The activity concluded with a beach clean-up campaign, followed by a practical exercise in sorting collected plastic waste according to its different categories, helping participants better understand the importance of waste sorting, recycling, and pollution prevention.
