ECC is a course created back in 2010 with the objective of creating a chance for the Timorese people to be able to practice their English alongside with International volunteers from different countries who are presented in Timor. Besides everyday English courses, ECC also organizes several activities to increase ECC students and youths across the country skills such as leadership training, public speaking, sports and others.

Last Friday, December 19th, 2025, our ECC (English Conversation Course) family celebrated more than just Christmas. We celebrated connection, growth, and shared dreams! 🎅🤝

✍️Writing down our biggest 2025 goals as if already achieved.
🥖Pinning those dreams of success onto our “Hope Bread” with cute little food picks!
🗣️Stepping forward to share our future victories with courage.

It wasn't just a party. It was a powerful declaration: at ECC, we don't just learn English we build confidence, community, and champions! 🏆

From new faces to our amazing senior students and board members, the energy at our usual spot (UNTL, Law Faculty) was absolutely electric! ⚡

Late Post!!!

Every class is a moment to learn and grow together! ✨

On December 16, 2025, ECC-TL had the last class with our tutor, Maun Chris Draper.

It was a meaningful moment to reflect and give thanks for all his dedication, guidance, and inspiration. Through his teaching, our students have grown not only in confidence, but also in mentality, communication, critical thinking, and many other areas essential for their personal development.

A sincere thank you to Maun Chris Draper for his invaluable contribution and passion in guiding our students throughout this journey.

We wish Chris Draper continued success in his future endeavors, and to all ECC students, may your learning, growth, and achievements continue to flourish! ✨

December 5th, 2025, marked the last class with our amazing Tutor Mana Mary, who will be returning to her home in the USA. We'd like to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude to Mana Mary for dedicating her time to teaching us English.
Her positive energy in class was contagious, inspiring us to be as positive as she is. Learning English with you was always a joy and a comfort. Though this might be your last class with us, the lessons you've imparted will leave a lasting impact on our lives.
