Four representatives from the Rotaract Club of Ermera participated in the 2024 Coffee Festival in Dili, focusing on maintaining quality coffee production in Timor-Leste. The festival featured the presence of the President of East Timor and the Minister of Agriculture, highlighting the government's commitment to the coffee sector.
The event aimed to foster discussions on sustainable practices and enhance the quality of Timorese coffee, which is vital for local livelihoods and the economy. The Rotaract members engaged actively, sharing insights and promoting youth involvement in agricultural development.

Some of our RCE members were delighted to take part on The AJAR Programme in Baucau where our participants gathered to commemorate the "12 de Novembro Massacre Santa Cruz 1991." This event aimed to raise awareness about human rights and promote discussions on justice and reconciliation, empowering young people to engage actively in their communities and honor the victims's legacy.

To end , remember " Youths participation is essential for progress; their energy and creativity can drive change and inspire communities toward a brighter future "

Hello and welcome back!

As you all know, the Rotaract Club of Ermera is a vibrant community of young leaders dedicated to service and development in their region. Recently, the club organized a “Hand Over” ceremony, marking the transition of leadership roles within the organization. This event celebrated the achievements of outgoing leaders while welcoming new members into positions of responsibility.

The ceremony emphasized the importance of continuity in service projects, community engagement, and personal growth. The outgoing president Mr. Chody Lemos stated “Thank to our board members and all members for your unwavering support during my mandate. Your dedication, insights, and collaborative spirit have been invaluable in driving our initiatives forward. Together, we have made significant strides, and I am deeply grateful for your commitment to our mission”. He also handed a final report of his mandate during a period 2022 -2024 to the Incoming President.

On the other hand, the Incoming President Ms. Albertina Maia made a very inspiring speech where she pointed out some key message “We will strive to share our visions for future initiatives with this club, with the theme focusing on “Inspiring Change, Empowering Communities”.

In short, the RCE remains committed to making a positive impact in Ermera, fostering collaboration and innovation among its members.

August 9-11 2024, Manufahi.

The 6th Rotaract National Conference in Manufahi, Timor-Leste, gathered Rotaract members to discuss leadership, community service, and development initiatives.
The conference featured workshops, guest speakers, and networking opportunities aimed at empowering youth leaders.

Most of our Participants coming from different Clubs, including seven representatives from Rotaract Club of Ermera, where they engaged in collaborative projects to enhance community welfare and strengthen the Rotaract movement in the region, fostering connections among Rotaractors and Rotarian.

To end, we thank you all for attending especially for the HOST, The ROCCMA. Every presence and participation you made this event a success. Have a wonderful rest of your day ahead!

Hello and welcome back to RCE page 🤩💥👁👁

On June 22, 2024, the Rotaract Club of Ermera went to Estado -Saramata village in Ermera municipality where they distributed essential food supplies to 36 vulnerable individuals, ensuring equitable access and community engagement. Simultaneously, the club generously donated five boxes (Packages of small rice) to one of the primary school called “ Eskola Filial Bazar Estado”, aiming to alleviate hunger among students and support educational continuity. This initiative highlighted their commitment to social responsibility, community empowerment, and fostering resilience in challenging times.

Before ending, one of the the beneficiaries representative stated “ We are very happy and thank you for this miracle helps of the Rotary International; we wished to have more help like this in the future” on the other hand, the Chefe Aldeia also would like to thank the Rotary International and the Rotaract Club of Ermera for making this distruibution successful to his people, on be half of the local authority we extended our deepest appreaciation towards Rotary International.
In short, he added “ The event underscored the Rotaract Club’s role in promoting sustainable development and addressing immediate needs in the local community”.

What a terrible news for all the Rotarians and Rotaractors around the World, especially here in Timor Leste to hear the loss of Mr. Lux Moore !🙏🏾😭
