Within the framework of the “Strengthening resilience to rising food prices” project, Public Charity Organization “Skills and Prosperity” is distributing essential food to 232 vulnerable low-income households of Tojikobod and Lakhsh districts.
Mentioned activity initiated with the aim of contributing in reducing the negative impact of food prices in the local market and strengthening food security.
This project is funded by Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) through Welthungerhilfe (known as German Agro Action).

Director of partner organization AZAL Sergey Nazarov together with the agronomist Saidakbar monitoring the green houses in Rasht district. Newly built greenhouses are already producing seedling of future cucumbers!!! Fresh vegetables will be accessible for most of the households and increase net income of smallholder farmers.

An interesting and attractive conference under the title “Novel approaches to green, rural electrification of Tajikistan’s off-grid villages: Lessons learnt from WHH’s energy programmes in upper Kuhistoni Mastcho” has been conducted by WHH partner Bargi Sabz.
Bargi Sabz presents the results and lessons learnt of the rural electrification programme in Mastcho, mentioned about strengthening the partnership between national and international organization working in Tajikistan in the sphere of Renewable Energy (RE) and Energy Efficiency (EE); Disseminating best practices and innovative approaches in RE and EE being developed in the frame of Welthungerhilfe (WHH) / Bargi Sabz projects.
The team encouraged the audience to comment and ask questions so that an open exchange became an important part of the conference and might lead in future to cooperations with other organisations and institutions.
We wish them further success in developing the objectives of the programme!!!

Improving of living conditions and development potentials in off-grid mountain villages and protection of natural forest resources through rural electrification and domestic energy efficiency by Bargi Sabz, WHH Partner in Kuhistoni Mastchoh.

WHH partner JOVID with the ongoing construction on the irrigation channel in Yakhshivol (Yusufbekov channel in Ishkashim) is strengthening the river bank by stone wall. Today the water level of the river increased by hard rains and due to the sustainability, it is advised to raise the wall from 1800 cm to up to 2200-2500 cm.

WHH partner TJK 1135 starts their spring activities in the field: agro-technical advises in the orchards, grafting apple trees, proper pruning of young plants and traditional orchards, shaping the crowns of the trees.
The project organized Women's Producer Groups in the target villages and distributed blackcurrant seedlings of the variety "Titania". It is leading variety of Swedish selection.
In Nurobod district of Humdon jamaot the Women's Producers Groups are already planting the seedlings of cucumber, tomato and herbs in allocated greenhouses!
А good start to successful prosperity!!!

PATRIP has conducted one day training on "Environmental and Social Policy" for all projects on 5th of April 2023 in the facility of Pamir energy. WHH project 's participants of TJK 1117, TJK 1124 and TJK 1126 actively took part at the training.

From the beginning of April 2023, the Public Charity Organization "Skills and Prosperity" is conducting one-day training sessions on effective methods of vegetable cultivation, considering the impact of climate change for members of households. The purpose of these trainings is to train project beneficiaries advanced methods of vegetable cultivation, assist in increasing their production and reduce the price of these products in the local market. Mentioned trainings are being held for members of 540 households from Tojikobod and Lakhsh districts.
