'Daweyu' means 'welcome', 'hello', 'thank you', 'goodbye' - a phrase full of good will in Lahu Sheleh language

Daweyu Hills is a cross-cultural project between the Lahu Sheleh of Doi Mod and other nearby villages, and interested individuals from around the globe. Our primary focus is developing a sustainable-income model for the cultivation, processing, and roasting of organic Arabica coffee. We also support the documentation of Lahu history and culture through photography, film, and other media. We host small-scale service-learning programs, promote natural earth building, and offer experiential tours of Lahu Sheleh culture in Northern Thailand.
