ผมกำลังนำป้ายแต่งตั้ง TWMC Global Ambassador ไปมอบให้กับวงโยธวาทิตแรก เพื่อทำหน้าที่ตัวแทนประเทศไทย หลังจากได้รับการแต่งตั้งให้เป็น “วงโยธวาทิตตัวแทนประเทศอย่างเป็นทางการ” จาก The Marching Band Association of Thailand - สมาคมวงโยธวาทิตแห่งประเทศไทย เพื่อทำหน้าที่อย่างมีเกียรติและภาคภูมิใจสำหรับการเดินทางไปประกวดฯ ในต่างประเทศ

การเดินทางไปต่างประเทศไม่ใช่เพียงแค่การประกวดหรือการแสดงเท่านั้น แต่นั่นหมายถึง การแสดงภาพลักษณ์ของประเทศไทยให้โลกเห็นว่า วงโยธวาทิตของไทยไม่ได้ด้อยไปกว่าใคร และเรามีมาตรฐานที่ทั่วโลกต้องยอมรับ ในทุกครั้งเราจะนำความเป็นไทยไปด้วยเสมอ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นการสอดแทรกศิลปวัฒนธรรม การส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยว และการแสดงศักยภาพที่เต็มเปี่ยมของเยาวชนไทย ซึ่งทั้งหมดคือหน้าที่ของ ”ทูตวงโยธวาทิต“ ที่จะนำความสัมพันธ์อันดีและเอกลักษณ์ของชาติสู่สายตาชาวโลก

TWMC หรือ Thailand World Music Championships เป็นรายการประกวดระดับนานาชาติที่เป็นรายการสูงสุดของสมาคมวงโยธวาทิตแห่งประเทศไทย จัดขึ้นที่จังหวัดศรีสะเกษ และเป็นรายการที่ได้รับรางวัล “รายการประกวดที่ดีที่สุดของเอเชีย ประจำปี 2568” จากสมาพันธ์วงโยธวาทิตแห่งเอเชีย (AMBC) การที่มีวงโยธวาทิตจากทั่วโลกเดินทางมาประกวดที่จังหวัดศรีสะเกษ ทำให้ประเทศไทยกลายเป็นหมุดหมายสำคัญของเวทีวงโยธวาทิตระดับโลก

ดังนั้น TWMC จึงเป็นสะพานสำคัญที่นำพาวงโยธวาทิตไทยสู่เวทีในต่างประเทศต่อไป การได้เข้าร่วมประกวดในรายการ TWMC ถือเป็นจุดสูงสุดของการประกวดนานาชาติในประเทศ และเป็นเส้นทางก้าวต่อไปสู่เวทีต่างประเทศอย่างมีเกียรติ

ทั้งนี้ สำหรับวงโยธวาทิตที่ได้รับรางวัลชนะเลิศในทุกประเภท และได้รับรางวัลถ้วยพระราชทานฯ จะได้รับงบประมาณอุดหนุนเพื่อสนับสนุนการเดินทางจาก กรมพลศึกษา กระทรวงการท่องเที่ยวและกีฬา อีกด้วย ถือเป็นความร่วมมือและการสนับสนุนจากภาครัฐในด้านวงโยธวาทิตที่หลายประเทศไม่มี

I am honored to present the TWMC Global Ambassador plaque to the first marching band selected to represent Thailand. This follows their official appointment as the "Official National Representative Marching Band" by The Marching Band Association of Thailand, an appointment held with the utmost honor and pride as they prepare for international competitions.

Traveling abroad is more than just a competition or a performance; it is a vital opportunity to showcase Thailand’s image to the world. It proves that Thai marching bands stand second to none, maintaining world-class standards. In every performance, we carry the essence of Thailand with us—integrating our rich arts and culture, promoting national tourism, and demonstrating the immense potential of Thai youth. This is the core mission of a "Marching Band Ambassador": to foster international relations and bring our unique national identity to the global stage.

The TWMC (Thailand World Music Championships) is the premier international competition organized by The Marching Band Association of Thailand. Held in Sisaket Province, it was recently honored as the "Best Event in Asia 2025" by the Asian Marching Band Confederation (AMBC). By drawing marching bands from across the globe to Sisaket, TWMC has solidified Thailand’s position as a key global destination for the marching band community.

Consequently, TWMC serves as a vital bridge, propelling Thai marching bands toward international horizons. Competing in TWMC represents the pinnacle of international competition within the country and serves as a prestigious gateway to the world stage.
Furthermore, champions in every category who receive the Royal Trophy will also be granted a travel subsidy from the Department of Physical Education, Ministry of Tourism and Sports. This level of government collaboration and support for the marching band arts is a unique privilege that many other countries do not have.

สมาคมวงโยธวาทิตแห่งประเทศไทย ขอแสดงความยินดีกับ ดร.สิริพงศ์ อังคสกุลเกียรติ ในโอกาสได้รับพระบรมราชโองการโปรดเกล้าโปรดกระหม่อมแต่งตั้งให้ดำรงตำแหน่ง รัฐมนตรีช่วยว่าการกระทรวงคมนาคม

The Marching Band Association of Thailand extends its warmest congratulations to Dr. Siripong Angkasakulkiat on the occasion of his royal appointment as the Deputy Minister of Transport.

He has been a long-standing driving force and supporter of marching band activities in Thailand, most notably in elevating the Thailand World Music Championships into one of the most prestigious marching band competitions today.

ขอเชิญชวนชาวไทยร่วมส่งแรงใจเชียร์ วงโยธวาทิตโรงเรียนเบญจมราชรังสฤษฎิ์ จังหวัดฉะเชิงเทรา ในฐานะตัวแทนประเทศไทยอย่างเป็นทางการ เดินทางไปร่วม การประกวด 2026 WGI Color Guard World Championships ณ เมืองเดย์ตัน รัฐโอไฮโอ ประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา ระหว่างวันที่ 5 - 15 เมษายน 2569

เวทีการประกวด Winter Guard International หรือ รู้จักกันในชื่อ WGI Sport of the Arts เวทีต้นตำรับสำหรับการประกวดประเภท Section ในประเภท Color Guard ที่ขึ้นชื่อว่า "โหดที่สุด" และ "มาตรฐานสูงที่สุด" ในโลก โดยในปีนี้มีทีมเข้าร่วมการประกวดรวมทุกรุ่นมากกว่า 500 ทีม!

สำหรับตัวแทนจากประเทศไทยในครั้งนี้ จะลงประกวดในiรุ่น Independent A Class (การประกวดมีหลายรุ่น) ซึ่งมีคู่แข่งในรุ่นนี้จำนวน 72 ทีม นี่คือโอกาสที่จะพิสูจน์ศักยภาพและความสามารถของเด็กไทยให้เป็นที่ประจักษ์ในระดับโลก

We invite all Thais to send their support and encouragement to the Benjamarachrangsrit School Color Guard from Chachoengsao Province. As the official representatives of Thailand, they are traveling to compete in the 2026 WGI Color Guard World Championships in Dayton, Ohio, USA, from April 5th to 15th, 2026.

Winter Guard International (WGI), also known as the "Sport of the Arts," is the world’s premier organization for color guard competition. It is renowned for having the "toughest" and "highest standards" in the world. This year, the event will feature over 500 teams across all divisions!

The Thai representative will be competing in the Independent A Class, which features 72 competing teams. This is a prestigious opportunity to prove the potential and talent of Thai youth on a global stage.

Schedule
April 3, 2026 | 3:00 PM: Special preview performance before departure at Benjamarachrangsrit School.

April 4, 2026 | 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM: Join us to see them off at Suvarnabhumi Airport.

April 5, 2026 | 1:30 AM: Official departure for the United States.
