Home of Grace, Community Store

Home of Grace (HoG) was set up originally as a refuge for teen mothers-to-be & those that have given birth, plus women in need.

The Community Thrift store was established in 2020 to raise funds for HoG and the charitable foundation that it is a part of.

These were 3 lovely students from Bangkok Prep that came last Saturday to volunteer. Their morning was busy with re-potting plants and then sorting through books, followed by time for thrift shopping!
If you have a student looking for community service hours or perhaps would like to do something together one weekend as a family, please do get in touch - we would love to have you come help!

Because you can never have too many pairs of jeans… can you? 😉

We’ve been having a bit of a sort out in our storage room and discovered that we have A LOT of jeans! 😂

Here’s just a small selection in 32”, 33” and 34” waistbands — and most are well-known brands, all being sold for seriously good prices.

And when I say small selection, I really mean it… this is just the tip of the denim iceberg! 👖🧊 There are lots, lots more where these came from.

Perfect everyday jeans, branded jeans, jeans for dressing up, jeans for throwing on with a T-shirt… because let’s face it, everyone needs a good pair of jeans.

Helping at HoG isn’t just for the ladies!

A HUGE thank you to these two legends who answered our call for volunteers and came along to tackle the HoG garden!

They got stuck straight in — clearing, raking, cutting back and generally giving our very overgrown garden some much-needed love. And just look at the difference they’re making!

HoG is powered by volunteers, and there’s always something that needs doing. While we have wonderful ladies who regularly give their time, we’d love to see more men getting involved too!

You don’t need to be a gardening expert. You don’t need to commit to every week. If you’ve got a couple of hours, don’t mind getting your hands dirty and fancy doing something useful for a great cause, we’d love to have you!

And if gardening isn’t your thing, there are plenty of other jobs at HoG where an extra pair of hands is always appreciated.

So gentlemen… consider this your invitation! 😉💪🏼

P.S we have lots of fabulous mens clothes which you will get first dibs at!
