We install computer classes in rural schools, provide scholarships to bright students and send volunteers to teach English classes in cooperation with the local teachers. We install computer classes in rural schools and support them for at least 3 years. We guarantee the schools a fully functional class with 20 computers, a multifunctional network printer and internet access. Furthermore, we send out volunteers to teach English in cooperation with local teachers, with the aim to improve both the students' and teachers' understanding of the English language and work on the quality of education as a whole. Finally, we provide scholarships to bright students without the means to pay for continued education. We follow up with the students to ensure they are motivated and will continue their studies. More recently (september 2012), we have created a permanent presence in Prasat, Surin. The Fund Isaan office will serve as a command center for the above activities, but also as an education center where private classes are given concerning subjects such as English and IT skills.
