When the Girls Protection Centre in the remote mountains of Chiang Rai reached out to our outreach mentors during the pandemic, we were only able to keep Narasi in school thanks to a TCDF scholarship. That support has now ended, but after everything she has overcome—including deep poverty and her father’s paralysis—we have come too far to stop now: Our mentors managed to get her university fees and dormitory fees waved, and all she needs to get a bachelor degree in three years is the food to keep her alive. 4200 baht a month for basic nutrition to stay healthy, focused, and in school—let’s come together to break the cycle of poverty for her family and ensure hunger never stands in the way of her future.

Gott, left behind by both parents and raised by elderly relatives, now lives with his aunt and uncle after his great-grandmother passed away.

ภาษาไทยด้านล่าง 🌱For a child in poverty, a simple uniform, a pair of shoes that fit, or socks without holes can be the difference between showing up with confidence or staying behind in shame.

This May, after the Thai New Year, hundreds of underprivileged children under the wings of the Thai Child Development Foundation will walk back to their village schools.
Primary school in Thailand is mostly free, and especially the children who do not need a bus and can walk, they really do not need a full scholarship from us.
However they do all need their 3 different mandatory full sets of uniforms for study, sport and scouts.

Please give what you can or share—your support, no matter how small, can help a child step into the classroom with dignity, hope, and the courage to learn.

สำหรับเด็กที่เติบโตมาในความยากจน เครื่องแบบนักเรียนธรรมดา ๆ หนึ่งชุด รองเท้าคู่ที่พอดีเท้า หรือถุงเท้าที่ไม่ขาด อาจเป็นสิ่งที่สร้างความแตกต่างอย่างยิ่ง ระหว่างการได้ไปโรงเรียนอย่างมั่นใจ หรือการต้องอยู่ข้างหลังด้วยความอับอาย

ในเดือนพฤษภาคมนี้ หลังจากเทศกาลปีใหม่ไทย เด็ก ๆ ผู้ด้อยโอกาสหลายร้อยคนภายใต้การดูแลของมูลนิธิ Thai Child Development Foundation จะได้กลับไปยังโรงเรียนในหมู่บ้านของพวกเขา การศึกษาในประเทศไทยส่วนใหญ่ไม่มีค่าใช้จ่าย และโดยเฉพาะเด็กเล็กที่สามารถเดินไปโรงเรียนใกล้บ้านได้ อาจไม่จำเป็นต้องได้รับทุนการศึกษาเต็มจำนวนจากเรา แต่สิ่งที่เด็กทุกคนจำเป็นต้องมี คือเครื่องแบบนักเรียนที่ครบถ้วนทั้ง 3 ชุด ได้แก่ ชุดเรียน ชุดพละ และชุดลูกเสือ
