Fire shows, Muay Thai, and waves – Meet Kru Tong!

If you've ever been here, you definitely know that smiling face. Kru Tong has been calling Memories Beach home for over 6 years. His biggest joy? Sharing the stoke, meeting new friends, and watching students light up when they catch their first wave.

When he's not surfing, Tong is crushing fire shows at night, training Muay Thai, or guiding nature lovers at Khao Lak Elephant Home. A true man of all trades!

So next time you're at Memories Surf Village, go say hi to him and try a surf session. You won't regret it! 🤙🔥

Let’s take a journey through one of the most beloved running routes in the Matalay project. This 5-kilometer trail begins at Memories Surf Village, leading you directly into a lush pine forest filled with vibrant greenery and natural shade. As you continue, the path opens up into a sweeping meadow where you can watch the sunlight dance across the grass before entering a forest zone where you might even spot local elephants in their natural habitat.

For the grand finale, the final kilometer takes you onto the sands of Memories Beach, allowing you to finish your run with a view of surfers catching waves against the horizon. It is the perfect time to start training and prepare for the 2nd Trail to Tide event, happening during the Classic 2026 festival from June 1–3, 2026. See you at the starting line!
