Youm-e-Istehsal Kashmir was solemnly observed by the Embassy of Pakistan in Thailand on 2 August 2025 in Ayutthaya marking six years since India’s illegal and unilateral actions in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (IIOJK).
Ambassador Rukhsana Afzaal strongly reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination and condemned India’s revocation of Articles 370 & 35-A, ongoing human rights violations, and recent acts of aggression.
Thai scholars including Dr. Roostum Vansu, Dr. Banadit Aroman, Mr. Somkit Rangrot, Mr. Aree Arif, and Dr. Prachaya joined voices with students from AIT and Chulalongkorn University to express heartfelt solidarity with Kashmiris and call for justice, peace, and international accountability.
A moving short film and powerful reflections made the suffering in Kashmir more human, more real.
The event ended with a united call for the international community to uphold its moral and legal responsibility toward the people of Jammu & Kashmir.
