📚 Supporting Education, Creating Opportunities

Sometimes, even simple classroom resources can make a meaningful difference — giving teachers better tools to teach and helping create a more effective learning environment for students.

As part of our ongoing commitment to education in the Phuket community, the 𝐑𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 delivered 9 brand-new whiteboards to Sithsoonthornbamrung School in Paklok, Phuket.

We are pleased to continue supporting the school and investing in opportunities for Phuket’s young people.

Small actions. Lasting impact. 💙

Celebrating 25 Years of Impact

On Saturday, 5 September, the 𝐑𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 gathered for a special celebration dinner at Courtyard by Marriott Phuket Town to mark 25 years of service to the Phuket community.

It was a meaningful evening shared with charter members, past and current members, and friends of Rotary coming together to remember the projects, people, and partnerships that have shaped our club’s journey.

From helping rebuild after the tsunami, to children’s swimming programmes, prescription eyeglasses for students, ambulance support for Patong Hospital, and soon an ambulance for Thalang Hospital. Every project, big or small, reflects the heart of Rotary.

For 25 years, our club has been guided by one simple but powerful principle: Service Above Self.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey. Together, we look forward to creating even more lasting impact in the years ahead.

Ambulance Handover Ceremony – Strengthening Healthcare for Our Community

On 4 September 2026, the 𝐑𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 proudly handed over a fully equipped ambulance to Patong Hospital, helping strengthen emergency response and critical care services for our local community.

This meaningful project was made possible through a Rotary Global Grant, together with the support of our international Rotary partners: Rotary Club of Taipei Lungmen – Taiwan, Rotary Club of Shouson Hill – Hong Kong, and Rotary Club of Bargteheide – Germany.

During the handover ceremony at Patong Hospital, President Alex Longman expressed the club’s sincere appreciation for the hospital’s dedicated service to the community. Patong Hospital also shared heartfelt thanks for Rotary’s continued support and long-standing relationship.

More than 20 years ago, the Rotary Club of Patong Beach helped provide an ambulance to Patong Hospital. Today, we are proud to continue that legacy with a new ambulance that we hope will create a lasting impact for many years to come.

Together, through Rotary’s local action and global connections, we continue to serve with purpose.
