🇹🇭 ตลอดหลายปีที่ผ่านมา มีคนมากมายเข้ามาทำงานกับ OTV ในประเทศไทย บางคนอยู่กับเราไม่กี่เดือน บางคนอยู่หลายปี และบางคนเข้ามาในช่วงหนึ่งของชีวิต ก่อนที่จะเดินต่อไปในเส้นทางของตัวเอง

นั่นก็เป็นเรื่องธรรมดาของชีวิต คนเราเปลี่ยนแปลง สถานการณ์เปลี่ยนแปลง และแต่ละช่วงชีวิตก็เปลี่ยนไป

OTV ไม่เคยเป็น NGO แบบทั่วไป และเราไม่เคยพยายามที่จะเป็นแบบนั้น นั่นแหละคือสิ่งที่ทำให้ OTV เป็น OTV

เราคิดอยู่เสมอว่า ต่อไปจะเป็นอย่างไร — OTV กำลังจะไปทางไหน เราต้องการอะไร และใครจะเข้ามาเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของสิ่งที่เรากำลังทำ ตอนนี้ผมยังไม่มีตำแหน่งงานหรือหน้าที่ที่ชัดเจนที่จะประกาศ แต่ผมกำลังคิดเรื่องเหล่านี้อยู่ และผมเชื่อว่ายังมีคนดี ๆ อีกมากที่อาจเหมาะกับ OTV

บางคนอาจเคยทำงานกับเรามาก่อน บางคนอาจยังไม่เคย บางคนอาจอยู่ในประเทศไทย บางคนอาจอยู่ที่อื่น คุณอาจมีทักษะหรือประสบการณ์ที่เรากำลังมองหา หรืออาจมีบางอย่างที่คุณนำมาให้ OTV ซึ่งเราเองยังไม่เคยนึกถึง

ถ้าคุณเคยคิดว่า “ผมอาจจะทำอะไรบางอย่างกับ OTV ได้” ทักมาคุยกันได้นะครับ ผมยินดีที่จะได้คุยกับคุณ

🇦🇺 Over the years, many different people have worked with OTV in Thailand. Some stayed for a few months, some for many years, and some came for a season of life and then moved on. That’s life. People change, circumstances change, and seasons change.

OTV has never been a normal NGO. We’ve never tried to be. And that’s exactly what makes OTV what it is.

We’re always thinking about what’s next — where we’re heading, what we need, and who might be part of it. I don’t have a list of specific positions. I’m still thinking through a lot of that. But I do know there are good people out there who might fit with OTV.

Maybe you’ve worked with us before. Maybe you haven’t. Maybe you’re in Thailand. Maybe you’re somewhere else. You might have skills or experience that could help, or you might bring something we haven’t even thought about.

🇹🇭 มีโอกาสมากมายที่จะช่วยเหลือเด็ก ๆ และครอบครัวของพวกเขา

เมื่อวันศุกร์ที่ผ่านมา เราได้นั่งคุยกับ Ainsthira และครอบครัวของเธอ และนำข้าวกับอาหารไปมอบให้

🇦🇺 There are many, many opportunities to help children and their families.

Last Friday, we sat with Ainsthira and her family and gave them rice and food supplies.

Nothing is easy for this family. They do everything they can, but life is hard.

Disability and long-term physical and psychological needs are difficult anywhere. Here, for families without money, they can be almost impossible to manage. There are few options. Getting the help you need is hard.

Can we fix everything? No.

Can we help? Yes.

So let’s help. ❤

🇹🇭 OTV ลงมือทำแบบนี้อยู่ทุกอาทิตย์ — ช่วยเด็ก ๆ และครอบครัวที่ต้องการความช่วยเหลือจริง ๆ

เราอยากทำให้ได้มากกว่านี้ และช่วยให้ได้มากขึ้นเรื่อย ๆ ฝากช่วยแชร์ให้เพื่อน ๆ กันด้วยนะ

🇹🇭 การทำงานที่เราทำอยู่มีทั้งช่วงที่ขึ้นและลงมากมาย เป็นเรื่องที่ไม่แปลกเลย

เราทุ่มเททุกอย่างที่เรามีเพื่อช่วยเหลือ แต่บางครั้งปัญหาก็ยังคงอยู่ สิ่งต่าง ๆ ไม่เปลี่ยนแปลงเร็วอย่างที่เราหวัง และบางปัญหาก็ดูเหมือนไม่มีวันสิ้นสุด

แต่นั่นไม่ได้หมายความว่าความพยายามของเราสูญเปล่า

เมื่อเราเห็นปัญหา เราสามารถเลือกที่จะเดินหนี หรือเลือกที่จะหันเข้าไปช่วย ทั้งสองทางล้วนมีผลตามมา และเราเลือกที่จะหันเข้าไปช่วย

นั่นไม่ได้หมายความว่าเราจะแก้ปัญหาได้ทุกอย่าง เราทำไม่ได้ แต่เราสามารถสร้างความเปลี่ยนแปลงได้ และเราให้ความสำคัญกับสิ่งนั้นอย่างจริงจัง

เด็กผู้หญิงคนหนึ่งได้เรียนต่อ ครอบครัวหนึ่งมีอาหารเพียงพอ เด็กผู้หญิงคนหนึ่งรู้ว่ามีคนที่ห่วงใยเธอ ครอบครัวหนึ่งมีความมั่นคงมากขึ้น หรือปัญหาหนึ่งได้รับการป้องกันก่อนที่จะกลายเป็นเรื่องที่ใหญ่กว่านั้นมาก

ผลลัพธ์เหล่านั้นมีความหมายกับเรา บางทีอาจมากเกินกว่าที่เราจะอธิบายออกมาได้ทั้งหมด

🇦🇺 There are plenty of ups and downs in doing what we do. No surprise there.

We put everything we have into helping. But sometimes the problem is still there. Things don’t change as quickly as we hoped, and some problems seem to have no end in sight.

That doesn’t mean our efforts are in vain.

When we see a problem, we can turn away or turn towards it. Both choices have consequences. We choose to turn towards it.

That doesn’t mean we can fix everything. We can’t. But we can make a difference, and we take that seriously.

At OTV, we step carefully. We think about what we are doing, why we are doing it and whether it is making a difference. We look at the results, learn from them and adjust when we need to.

If you’re looking for a guarantee, here’s one: there will be results.

Sometimes those results are obvious. Sometimes they are small. Sometimes they take years to see.

A girl staying in school. A family having enough food. A girl knowing she has someone who cares. A family becoming more stable. A problem prevented before it becomes something much bigger.

Those results matter. Perhaps more than we can ever fully explain.

🇹🇭 ความเศร้าหาเจอได้ง่าย แต่จริง ๆ แล้วก็มีความสุขให้เห็นอยู่มากเหมือนกัน

สัปดาห์นี้เราได้นำข้าวและอาหารไปมอบให้กับครอบครัวที่กำลังลำบาก มีเรื่องราวที่น่าเศร้าอยู่ไม่น้อย แต่ก็มีรอยยิ้มอยู่ไม่น้อยเหมือนกัน

ขอบคุณทุกคนที่สนับสนุน OTV และทำให้เราได้ทำสิ่งเหล่านี้ ขอบคุณครับ ❤️

🇦🇺 Sadness is easy to find, but there is a lot of happiness to see too. This week we delivered more rice and food to families who need a bit of help. Plenty of sad stories, but also plenty of smiles.

June เป็นหนึ่งในเพื่อนที่เรารักและผูกพันมากที่สุด ตลอดหลายปีที่ผ่านมา June ทุ่มเททั้งเวลา แรงกาย แรงใจ และยังคอยสนับสนุน OTV อย่างเต็มที่เสมอ สัปดาห์ที่แล้วเราได้มีโอกาสพบกัน พูดคุยย้อนถึงเรื่องราวตลอดหลายปีที่ผ่านมา เล่าเรื่องต่าง ๆ ให้กันฟัง และหัวเราะด้วยกันมากมาย เป็นช่วงเวลาที่พิเศษมากสำหรับพวกเรา

June is deeply loved by all of us. We wanted to recognise all she’s given and, most of all, simply say thank you.

🇹🇭 ยงค์หกล้มเมื่อสัปดาห์ที่แล้ว เธอยังมีรอยฟกช้ำและเจ็บอยู่ แต่ก็ยังต้องเดินหน้าต่อไป ครอบครัวสำคัญเสมอ โดยเฉพาะในช่วงเวลาที่ยากลำบาก ช็อกโกแลตเล็ก ๆ น้อย ๆ เป็นการบอกให้เธอรู้ว่าเราคิดถึงและเป็นห่วงเธอครับ

🇦🇺 Yong had a fall this week. She’s bruised and sore, but still has to keep going. Family matters, especially when times are tough. The chocolates are just a small way of saying, we’re thinking of you.
