In Peace, I Will Sleep
True rest is not just about closing our eyes at night—it is about trusting in the One who watches over us. Psalm 4:8 reminds us that real peace doesn’t come from perfect circumstances but from the assurance that God is our refuge. When worries try to steal our sleep, we can surrender them to Him, knowing that He is in control.
Instead of letting fear or anxiety fill your mind, let God’s presence be your comfort. His protection is greater than any uncertainty, and His love is a safe place where you can fully rest.
Tonight, release your burdens to God, breathe deeply, and trust that He is your lifeline to peace. Sleep in His care, knowing you are safe in His hands. 🌙✨🙏

Love and Justice: The Two Greatest Commandments – READ FULL CAPTION. 👇

Loving God and loving others cannot be separated—true faith is lived out through justice and compassion. While we trust that God will one day make all things right, He calls us to act now, alleviating suffering wherever we can. As followers of Christ, we cannot ignore injustice or turn away from those in need. Instead, we are called to reflect His love by standing for what is right, caring for the oppressed, and working to bring hope to a broken world. Loving God means loving people, and love in action is the truest form of justice.

Prayer: Your Lifeline to God

Prayer is more than just words—it is our lifeline to God. In Luke 18:1, Jesus teaches us the importance of persistent prayer, reminding us that no matter the struggles we face, we should never give up. Just as a lifeline keeps someone afloat in deep waters, prayer keeps us connected to the One who sustains and strengthens us.

When answers seem delayed, remember that God is listening. He may not respond in the way or timing we expect, but He is always at work. Through prayer, we find peace in the waiting, hope in uncertainty, and strength to persevere.

Hope Channel Southeast Asia is pleased to announce the appointment of Doreen Neo as the new Post-Production Coordinator effective March 1, 2025. We extend our warmest congratulations to Doreen and look forward to her leadership in guiding the post-production team toward greater excellence in media ministry.

Hailing from the state of Johor, Malaysia, Doreen brings with her a wealth of media experience. Her journey with Hope Channel began in 2020, when she dedicated a year of her life as a full-time media volunteer. Prior to that, she had been actively involved with Loud Voice Media, a self-supporting media ministry in Malaysia, where she honed her skills in media production and storytelling. Recognizing her passion for media and her deep burden for soul-winning, Doreen transitioned into a full-time role as Media Specialist in 2021, faithfully serving for four years until February 2025. Her commitment to spreading the gospel, particularly among the Chinese communities in the Southeast Asia region, has driven her to explore and develop impactful media content that resonates with diverse audiences.

Doreen is happily married to Jeff Branez, a Peruvian media missionary who is currently serving as a Public Relation and Communication Officer in the Marketing Department of Asia-Pacific International University. Together, they share a vision for media evangelism and the advancement of God’s work through creative storytelling. As Doreen steps into this new role, we are confident that her leadership, creativity, and passion will continue to elevate the mission of Hope Channel Southeast Asia. We congratulate her on this appointment and pray for God's guidance as she leads the post-production team in this new chapter of service.

Hope Channel Southeast Asia extends its heartfelt appreciation to Evelyn Tomkelski for her unwavering dedication and commitment as Post-Production Coordinator from 2022 to February 2025. Evelyn’s passion for media ministry and her selfless service have significantly contributed to the growth and impact of our productions.

Originally from Brazil, Evelyn brought with her a wealth of experience in media production and editing, having served as a freelancer for various church organizations before joining Hope Channel. In 2022, she arrived in Thailand with a high spirit of mission, fully committed to spreading the gospel throughout the 10/40 Window through media. Evelyn is a true woman of mission, blending her love for evangelism with her exceptional talents in graphic design and animation to enhance the visual storytelling of Hope Channel. Her creativity and dedication have left an indelible mark on our productions, inspiring many along the way. Beyond her professional contributions, Evelyn has been a valued member of our mission-driven family.

She is happily married to Christian Espejo, who serves as a Technical Assistant at Adventist International Mission School. Together, they embody the spirit of service and commitment to God’s work. As Evelyn embarks on her next endeavors, we are confident that she will continue to serve the Lord faithfully. While she transitions to new opportunities, we are grateful for her pledge of continued support and contributions to Hope Channel’s productions.
