💧En Tailandia y Myanmar se celebra el Año Nuevo budista con una de las festividades más especiales del año: el festival del agua.

🌿 Más allá de la diversión, cada gesto tiene un significado. El agua limpia, renueva y simboliza nuevos comienzos. Y la tradicional pasta blanca aplicada en el rostro representa bendiciones y buena suerte para el nuevo año.

💧 In Thailand and Myanmar, the Buddhist New Year is celebrated with one of the most special festivals of the year: the Water Festival.

🌿 Beyond the fun, every gesture has meaning. Water cleanses, renews, and symbolises new beginnings. The traditional white paste applied to the face represents blessings and good fortune for the year ahead.

🙌🏼 Esta semana hemos recibido la visita de Sandra y su familia, en representación de

💪🏼 Hace dos años apoyaron a la escuela KM42 con la compra de ordenadores y este año se han sumado a Splash for Kids.

⚽ Durante su visita han podido conocer escuelas, orfanatos, las clases de natación y compartir un partido de fútbol con Heavenly Home.

🥰 Además, tienen a tres niños apadrinados y pudieron compartir tiempo con ellos durante estos días.

🙌🏼 This week, we welcomed Sandra and her family, representing Kimon Fruits.

💪🏼 Two years ago, they supported KM42 School by purchasing computers, and this year they have also joined Splash for Kids.

⚽ During their visit, they were able to see schools, orphanages, swimming classes, and share a football match with Heavenly Home.

🌊 Splash for Kids 2026 ya ha comenzado!!

☺️ Nuestros primeros grupos de este año han sido el programa TPP y el orfanato Safe House, ambos bajo la organización SAW.

☀️ Estamos muy felices de poder llevar a cabo este proyecto un verano más. Con las altas temperaturas, la natación les da a los niños la oportunidad de refrescarse, aprender algo nuevo y disfrutar de actividades fuera del orfanato.

💙 Además, este año contamos con John como voluntario. Él aprendió a nadar con nosotros con 8 años cuando hicimos las clases de natación para el orfanato Safe House. Diez años después, ahora ayuda a los nuevos estudiantes.

🌊 Splash for Kids 2026 has officially begun!

☺️ Our first groups this year have been the TPP Program and the Safe House orphanage, both under the organization Social Action for Women.

☀️ We are so happy to bring this project back for another summer. With such high temperatures, swimming gives children the chance to cool down, learn something new, and enjoy activities outside the orphanage.

💙 This year, we are also excited to have John as a volunteer. He learned to swim with us when we first held swimming classes for the Safe House orphanage and he was just 8 years old. Ten years later, he is now helping the new students.

🫶🏽 Este fin de semana hemos recibido en Mae Sot la segunda visita del equipo de .foundation . Esta vez, con nuevas personas de la empresa que han querido conocer de cerca los proyectos de Colabora Birmania.

🏠 Hemos visitado el orfanato Safe House, el programa TPP, Chicken School, la comunidad donde viven muchos de los alumnos y el orfanato Heavenly Home, donde hace un año Tubacex donó para construir el sistema de bombeo de agua en los nuevos edificios.

✨ Han sido días de compartir, aprender y también de disfrutar con todos los niños de los proyectos.

❤️ Después de cinco años caminando juntos, visitas como esta nos recuerdan el gran compromiso que Tubacex tiene con los niños y comunidades en la frontera con Myanmar.

☺️ ¡Gracias por todo!

🫶🏽 This weekend we welcomed the second visit of the team from .foundation to Mae Sot. This time, new members of the company came to learn first-hand about the projects of Colabora Birmania.

🏠 We visited the Safe House orphanage, the TPP Program, Chicken School, the community where many of the students live, and the Heavenly Home orphanage, where a year ago Tubacex supported the construction of the water pumping system for the new buildings.

✨ It has been a few days of sharing, learning, and enjoying special moments with the children from the different projects.

❤️ After five years walking together, visits like this remind us of the strong commitment Tubacex has to the children and communities along the Thai-Myanmar border.

🎓 Esta semana ha sido de despedidas y nuevos comienzos.

❤️ Nuestros chicos y chicas del orfanato Safe House y Heavenly Home han terminado el Grado 12. El próximo año darán un paso más: universidad o programas de formación vocacional.

💪🏼 Un camino que no siempre fue fácil, pero que hoy se llena de posibilidades.

📚 Además, los alumnos del TPP, gracias a la contribución de MEP, han obtenido su certificado de inglés Cambridge B1.

✨ Orgullo, esfuerzo y un futuro que empieza a tomar forma.

❤️ The boys and girls from Safe House and Heavenly Home have completed Grade 12. Next year, they will take the next step toward university or vocational training programs.

📚 In addition, thanks to the contribution of MEP, the TPP students have earned their Cambridge B1 English certificate.

✨ Hoy celebramos un orgullo inmenso.

❤️ Lay Lay Wah y Nanthawan llegaron siendo niñas muy pequeñas al orfanato Safe House, al que apoyamos desde hace más de 15 años. Las vimos crecer… y hoy las vemos graduarse.

🎓Lay Lay Wah se ha graduado en Ciencias Ambientales en la Universidad de Chiang Mai.

👩🏻‍🎓Nanthawan se ha graduado en Trabajo Social en la Universidad de Phitsanulok y ya trabaja en una ONG en Mae Sot, acompañando a otras personas que también necesitan apoyo para salir adelante.

💪🏼 Nada de esto ocurre solo. Es posible gracias a los padrinos, becas y el acompañamiento constante del orfanato.

😍 Hoy no celebramos solo un título. Celebramos un futuro que ya está en marcha.

✨ Today we celebrate an incredible milestone.

❤️ Lay Lay Wah and Nanthawan arrived at Safe House orphanage as very young girls, a home we have supported for more than 15 years. We watched them grow up… and today we watch them graduate.

🎓 Lay Lay Wah has graduated in Environmental Sciences from Chiang Mai University.

👩🏻‍🎓Nanthawan has graduated in Social Work from the University of Phitsanulok and is already working at an NGO in Mae Sot, supporting others who, like her in the past, needed help to move forward.

💪🏼 None of this happens alone. It is possible thanks to sponsors, scholarships, and the constant support of the orphanage.

😍 Today we are not just celebrating a degree. We are celebrating a future already in motion.

🌹 Exactly one year ago, Sandra and her family brought the Catalan tradition of Sant Jordi all the way to Thailand.

🎭 Through theatre, laughter, and a workshop where drawings and roses filled classrooms and orphanages, we shared a day that still lives on in our memories.
