What if a journey through a mangrove forest could tell a bigger story?

Our new route by Mangroversity invites you to discover Koh Klang through the way people live, create, restore and grow with nature. This is a story of Regeneration in four dimensions: Environment, Economy, Culture and People.

The journey begins by boat, travelling through the mangrove forest to River Camp, the starting point of The Regenerative Island, an environmental tourism initiative supported by UNDP.
From there, we walk through restored mangrove areas and meet tiny but powerful partners in regeneration: stingless bees. Through our Return the Bees to the Forest activity, guests help bring these little pollinators back into their natural home.

The forest gives back too.

Stingless bee honey has become a valuable local product, creating an opportunity for the community to restore the forest while generating income. The story continues through products such as honey soap, turning regeneration into something people can take home.

Then, we step deeper into local life.

And finally, we gather around the table.

Home Table by Kidthung Cottage brings the journey together through a community dining experience Every dish carries a piece of the island, its people and the places we have travelled through. This is more than a new tourism route. It is an invitation to experience how tourism can become part of regeneration.

Mangroversity is Hot. 😎😏
& Uniqlo is Cool. 🥰😊

Two years ago, we started walking a small path with a simple belief: ordinary people can create real change for the environment.

From a small community with an idea, Mangroversity has grown to the point where our members started asking for a team shirt.

And then, just as Uniqlo was preparing to open its new store at Central Krabi, their team came to meet us and explore ways to work together. What started as the team shirts turned into something better.

Besides, these were made from recycled fibers. And yesterday we also came together with Uniqlo Thailand and our community for a Beach Clean Up at Khlong Lu.

It was a simple reminder that change happens when people come together.
Thanks to everyone walking on this path. When we take action together, a better future feels a little closer. 🌱💚

Some reunions feel especially meaningful.

Six years ago, Alex Rendell, founder of Environmental Education Center Thailand (EEC), visited Koh Klang. Together, we walked through the community, learned about traditional shellfish harvesting, and spent time with local children whose curiosity and connection to nature continue to inspire us today.

Now, six years later, Alex has returned to Krabi.

This time, he arrives as our community is growing —a space where nature becomes a classroom, local wisdom becomes a source of learning, and young people are empowered to become caretakers of their environment.

What makes this moment special is the realization that although our journeys began in different places, they share the same purpose: helping people reconnect with nature, value their communities, and believe that positive change starts with learning.

Every mangrove planted, every child inspired, every conversation about conservation is a small step toward a better future. And that future can only be built when more people choose to be part of it.

We are grateful to cross paths once again and hopeful that this connection will grow into meaningful collaboration in the years ahead.
Because lasting change happens when communities, educators, and nature lovers come together. 🌱💚
