🌸 SOS May 2026 Ladies Luncheon 🌸

We warmly welcome you to join us for our May Ladies Luncheon at the beautiful .kohsamui – A Veranda Collection Samui 💛

A long-time SOS favourite nestled in the heart of Lamai, Rocky’s holds many special connections for Sisters on Samui. From its former owner Collette, who remains a dear friend to many SOS ladies, to the wonderful female-led management team headed by Khun Junya — always so generous in supporting our raffles and events — this resort has always made us feel incredibly welcome.

We’re also proud to have our own SOS Events Board Member Hannah leading the island’s most loved weddings department at the resort ✨

Join us as we reunite with familiar faces, enjoy the stunning gardens and peaceful seaside setting, and indulge in a lovely three-course lunch together.

(Please note: dietary requests can be passed on to the venue, however cannot be guaranteed.)

(Includes a 100 THB donation to SOS outreach programs)

🌱 Every big idea starts with a vision…

Five years ago, there wasn’t a second-hand charity shop like this on the island — and we saw an opportunity to create something meaningful.

With Yvonne and Juliette leading the dream, Marketplace by SOS began with a simple but powerful idea: To bring together pre-loved items and give them a second home.

Clothing, shoes, books, toys, and household items — all saved from landfill, all given a new life.

At the same time, every item sold helps raise much-needed funds to support SOS community initiatives.

What started with a few donations and a lot of determination has grown into something truly special 💛

Marketplace by SOS turns 5 🎉

What started as a simple idea — and a big-hearted dream — has grown into something truly special.

Five years ago, with the vision of Ambassadors Yvonne and Juliette, and the support of a passionate community, our little shop with a big heart, “Marketplace by SOS” began with a handful of donations, a lot of hard work, and a belief that small actions can create real change.

Since then, the shop has become so much more than a place to buy pre-loved items.

💛 Thousands of items have been saved from landfill
💛 Funds raised have supported SOS programs helping children and families in need
💛 A community has grown around giving, reusing, and supporting one another

From dedicated shop managers and helpers, to Coffee ’n Chat afternoons, Swap ‘n Style sessions, and the joy of our annual Christmas markets — this space has become a true community hub.

To everyone who has been part of the journey — thank you 💛

To celebrate turning 5, we’ve got something special happening throughout May.

🎷💛 Thank You for Supporting Samui Summer Jazz 2026 💛🎷

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for this year’s Samui Summer Jazz evening — what a special night it was! ✨

Together, we’re so pleased to share that 60,000 THB was raised in support of our SOS Music in Schools programme 🎶

A special thank you to , and for their support in making this event possible and helping us continue to give back to the local community.

These funds will be used to provide musical instruments to local schools here on Koh Samui — and in the coming weeks, we’ll be visiting the school to deliver them in person 💛

We can’t wait to share that special moment with you soon…

🎷✨ Join Us for Samui Summer Jazz 2026 – Rhythms in the Air ✨🎷

We’re delighted to be part of this very special one-night-only event on Tuesday 28 April at InterContinental , where an unforgettable evening of world-class jazz, spectacular sunset views and great company will also help support a wonderful cause.

Presented by Skål International Koh Samui in collaboration with Sisters on Samui, Samui Summer Jazz 2026 will raise funds for our SOS Music in Schools programme, helping bring music education opportunities to local children on Koh Samui 🎶💛

Since the first Samui Summer Jazz event, SOS has received nearly THB 200,000, which has been turned into musical instruments for schools across Koh Samui since 2022. These instruments are already making a real impact — with schools such as Wat Saawang Arom performing at events and even being recognised in local media for their talent.

This initiative is organised by SKÅL, with SOS working closely alongside them to coordinate the instruments and their delivery to local schools, together with Khun Atom, owner of in Ban Tai, who also attended Lamai School as a child.

Internationally acclaimed musicians Michael Varekamp and Alexander Beets will take guests on a sensational musical journey from New Orleans to New York, set against the stunning backdrop of the InterContinental’s famous Air Bar.

💛 April Ladies Lunch Recap 💛

What a beautiful afternoon we had at our April Ladies Lunch! Set in the stunning surroundings of , it was the perfect setting to relax, connect and enjoy some truly delicious food together ☀️🌿

We dined at Kan Sak Thong, where Chef Ken and Chef Koy created an incredible menu full of flavour, creativity and care. Every dish was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious — and the service was just as impressive, making the whole experience feel extra special ✨

A lovely group of 33 ladies joined us, creating such a warm and friendly atmosphere throughout the afternoon 💕

Thanks to everyone who attended, we were also able to raise 3,300 THB for SOS Community Initiatives — helping us continue supporting those in need across the island 💛

Thank you all for coming along and making it such a special day. We can’t wait to see you at the next one! 🌸
