We are now open for visitors, offering a unique village (or dual-village) experience where you can immerse yourself in the heart of local life. Experience a wide range of seasonal activities that reflect the rhythms of rural Thailand, providing a deeper connection to its culture and traditions. It’s an invitation to step away from the usual and discover a new kind of beauty that don’t call for attention.
From now until late December 2024, you’re invited to experience life in our partner villages with a range of unique activities:
1. Hike through untouched forests, explore hidden waterfalls, and enjoy a traditional Isaan outdoor lunch in nature.
2. Camp in the quiet of the forest, foraging for edible plants and local aquatic life alongside new village friends. Hiking is included.
3. Stay as a guest with a local family, or opt for more privacy at the community learning center with its panoramic views of the Mekong River.
4. Have something specific in mind? Let us know your preferences, and we’ll tailor the experience to suit you e.g. learn how to cook some local dishes.
Why do we invite you to visit our villages?
Because almost everything here is still authentic—from the food, culture, and natural surroundings to the local livelihoods, beliefs, and the warm-hearted generosity of the people. These villages offer a rare chance to experience life, and deeply connected to their roots.
Pricing is flexible and will depend on the activities you choose, as well as the duration of your stay. We'll provide a detailed quote before you finalize your booking.
How to get to the village:
From downtown Ubon Ratchathani, the best option is to hire a taxi. We can arrange the pickup for you, and payment is made directly to the driver.

This type of trip isn’t for those looking for comfort or a hotel-like experience. It’s not for everyone. It’s designed for those who seek a unique village experience, where life is simple and authentic. Our activities are led by villagers, and the accommodation will be very basic (but safe). While we plan everything to the best of our ability, flexibility and openness to change are key. Respect for the local culture and people is also essential. However, feel free to reach out—we’re more than happy to provide any information you need!
