Last year, *Jan* (name changed for her privacy) came to our Christmas outreach as a guest.
She listened quietly to the story of hope.

This year, she came back **𝑛𝑜𝑡 𝑎𝑠 𝑎 𝑔𝑢𝑒𝑠𝑡, 𝑏𝑢𝑡 𝑎𝒔 𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒊 𝑣𝑜𝑙𝑢𝑛𝑡𝑒𝑒𝑟**.

Jan has walked away from a red light district.
Life is not that easy. She works multiple jobs just to earn enough.
But she is clear about one thing: **𝑠ℎ𝑒 𝑤𝑖𝑙𝑙 𝑛𝑜𝑡 𝑔𝑜 𝑏𝑎𝑐𝑘 𝑡𝑜 ℎ𝑒𝑟 𝑜𝑙𝑑 𝑙𝑖𝑓𝑒**.

This is why we choose to invest a large amount of funds,
many hands, and over a month of preparation
for **just one night and another one day**.

Because that one night and one day give many women in vulnerable place the chance to hear a story of hope at Christmas.

They heard the name of Jesus Christ.
They receive gifts.
They are treated with dignity.
They are seen as people — not labels.

But the most important thing is this,

Their names and faces are carried in prayer by our team and volunteers.

Just like Jan.

Today,the mercy of GOD has led her from the darkness to light.

To everyone who gives, serves, and prays.
