กิจกรรม “ปลูกหาดใหญ่” จัดขึ้นเมื่อวันที่ 17 มกราคม 2569 โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อดึงดูดคนรุ่นใหม่และคนมือใหม่ในการเริ่มปลูกต้นไม้ ได้มีโอกาสฝึกฝนและทำความเข้าใจการเริ่มต้นสร้างพื้นที่สีเขียวด้วยตนเองกับชุมชน ผ่านกิจกรรมการสอนปลูกผักคนเมือง โดย คุณประยูร ส่งแสงอ่อน จากสวนเบญจพฤกษ์เป็นวิทยากร ร่วมกับคุณฐานิญา เมธาสมิทธ์กุล หัวหน้าโครงการ Little Green Dots เพื่อทดลองคู่มือนักปลูกมือใหม่
เวิร์กช็อปครั้งนี้ ผู้เข้าร่วมได้เรียนรู้ทักษะและความรู้เบื้องต้นในการเตรียมดิน เพาะเมล็ด ไปจนถึงการดูแลต้นไม้ มีผู้เข้าร่วมทั้งหมด 23 คน ได้รับการสนับสนุนพื้นที่จัดกิจกรรมจากทางร้าน Away Coffee สาขานิพัทธ์สงเคราะห์
ทางทีมงานขอขอบคุณผู้เข้าร่วมและผู้สนับสนุนทุกท่าน ที่ได้มาร่วมกิจกรรมและส่งต่อพลังในการสร้างความเปลี่ยนแปลงเล็กๆ ผ่านการเชื่อมโยงกัน เพื่อจะขับเคลื่อนให้กิจกรรมด้านพื้นที่สีเขียวและธรรมชาติในหาดใหญ่ได้เติบโตต่อไป 🌱

ปลูกต้นไม้ให้มีชีวิต ปลูกเมืองให้มีชีวา 🌱

ชวนทุกคนมาผ่อนคลายใต้ร่มไม้ จิบกาแฟ เรียนรู้การปลูกต้นไม้ด้วยบรรยากาศสบายๆ เข้าใจการทำสวนผักคนเมืองกับวิทยากร คุณประยูร ส่งแสงอ่อน และทดลองคู่มือนักปลูกมือใหม่กับพวกเรา มาช่วยกันค้นหาคำตอบของพื้นที่สีเขียวที่หายไปในหาดใหญ่ร่วมกัน!

‘Little Green Dots’ โครงการที่มีเป้าหมายเพื่อส่งเสริมให้เกิดพื้นที่สีเขียวผ่านการมือส่วนร่วมของชุมชนและประชาชน ผ่านการพัฒนาคู่มือนักปลูกมือใหม่ให้กับประชาชนทั่วไป ฟื้นฟูพื้นที่สีเขียวร่วมกับชุมชนในเขตเทศบาลนครหาดใหญ่ ได้รับการสนับสนุนจาก Young Southeast Asia Leadership Initiative (YSEALI) Program จากประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา ร่วมมือกับ Hatyai Connext และบริษัท mor and farmer ภายใต้ทุน YSEALI Small Grant 2025 สำหรับเยาวชนในภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ที่ต้องการทำโปรเจ็กต์ในชุมชนของตนเอง

ทำให้เมืองกลับมามีชีวิต ด้วยพลังของชุมชนกับเรา ในครั้งต่อๆ ไป~

Introducing our extra pairs of green hands that’ll be tagging along with us through our journey!

The three little dots could only do so much on their own... and that’s where our community plays a role in making sure that we don’t bite off more than we can chew.

We’ve got Amanda and Sean, who are close friends of the little dots during their fellowship days! Alongside our subject matter experts, P and Poom, who will help us encourage locally-led stewardship amongst the residents of our pilot site area.

Now onto some workshopping and getting our hands dirty (if the weather permits - Southeast Asian struggles...)

Meet the gals behind the Little Green Dots!

Rarely enough do you ever get to cross paths with your Thai, Filipino, and Malaysian soulmates; these three managed to experience exactly that from their YSEALI fellowship.

They share a lot in common – from their perfectionist traits as eldest daughters; their live, laugh, love mentality as former people-pleasers; and their grounded love for all life around them (human and non-human alike).

What felt like the hardest goodbye was really a doorway that led these three souls back to each other for one more chance to work together!

May they continue to do their best in saving our urban green spaces within their own capacity. And may you 🫵🏼 get to join us on this journey, too!

Who are we? What are we? Why are we?

We might be feeling a tiny bit existential and experimental, but one thing for sure is that our mission is clear: To create little green dots of local biodiversity interlinked with human connection, one patch of grass at a time in urban areas throughout Southeast Asia!

And we'll start with one of our members' hometown – can you guess where? 🤔

Hint: 🐘 (Bet that's helpful 😌)
