Our Ministries:
Abba House Foundation is home to boys ages 8 to 22 who have been trafficked in downtown Chiang Mai, Thailand. Left homeless and hungry, they are forced to sell their bodies for a bowl of rice. At times they are beaten up and tortured; some have HIV, few can barely read or write. AH teaches life skills such as construction, motorcycle repair, jewelry crafts for half the day. The oth

er half they have Bible School education, Music and English. (New Life Annex Program)

Abba House Foundation has found that some of these street boys and men have recently been released from various prisons finding themselves deserted. They walk five miles to the tourist scenes to try and find work but find HIV instead. AH has recently built a half-way house we call Freedom Christian Center (FCC) to offer shelter, life skills, a 2 year program of Christian life foundations and then job placement. Abba House Foundation also reaches girls, ages 8 to 22, At Risk to the s*x slave Industry of Asia. Some are orphaned (with parental death certificates as proof), daughters of working prostitutes, r***d, abandoned or unwanted. At risk to falling into a life of forced prostitution but they are now safely in the care of Abba House. These children are given renewed hope, their lives forever changed through love, respect and education. They go to several different school systems in Chiang Mai depending on their needs. Abba House Foundation had the immense honor of hosting the Women At Risk International (WAR) medical team. What a tremendous blessing this visit was to our entire family here!

The dedicated WAR team—comprised of 3 compassionate doctors and skilled nurses—arrived ready to serve. They thoughtfully set up three medical stations and provided thorough health check-ups for all Abba House staff members and our precious girls. With great care, the doctors listened to our needs, offered prescriptions, and provided essential medicines.

After the medical care, we transitioned into joyful fellowship time together. Hearts were lifted as we sang worship songs, played fun social games, danced, and shared words of encouragement. Of course, no celebration at Abba House is complete without our girls' all-time favorite: a delicious Pizza Party lunch!

The generosity of the WAR team didn't stop there. They brought wonderful sports equipment to bless our ongoing activities: badminton rackets and shuttlecocks, pickleball rackets and nets, caneball (Sepak takraw) balls and nets, volleyballs, and more.

As the visit drew to a close, the team gathered around us for a powerful time of prayer, blessing Abba House in the mighty name of Jesus. We felt covered and encouraged by their intercession. We extend our deepest thanks to Becky McDonald and the entire WAR International team for their servant hearts, expertise, and love.

This month, we have the privilege of featuring one very special young woman from our Abba House family—Sarocha, known as Maimint— who will soon graduate from high school next month.

"My name is Sarocha, but most people call me Maimint. I am deeply thankful to share my story with you. I was born into a family filled with difficulties.

My parents divorced when I was very young. My father was Buddhist and struggled with alcoholism, which caused many problems in our family. Because of these challenges, my parents separated.

After the divorce, I lived with my great-grandmother. My mother had to leave me to work in Bangkok and my father never contacted me again. I stayed with my great-grandmother until I was eight years old. During that time, my aunt learned about Abba House and reached out to the staff. I truly thank God for that moment.

I have been living at Abba House since I was nine years old. During my time here, I have learned so many valuable things—not only in school, but in life.

When I first arrived at Abba House, I could not even read from A to Z. Every evening, I was given the opportunity to learn English. Today, I am able to speak and communicate in English.

I also learned how to play the drums and now I serve as a regular drummer in the Abba House worship band. I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior here and I was baptized at Abba House. This place has shaped my faith and my future.

I dream of becoming an English teacher, so I worked very hard towards that goal. I took the entrance exam for Rajabhat University, which specializes in teacher education. By the grace of God, I was accepted.

Looking back, I believe every part of my life story has been part of God’s plan. God chose Abba House Foundation as the place where I could grow, heal, learn, and dream again. I truly believe that He also has a special plan for my future. From the bottom of my heart, I thank everyone who supports Abba House. Because of you, I have had the opportunity to know God, grow in a Christian environment, and receive an education. Please continue to remember me in your prayers."

My name is Nakee, and I am 20 years old. I am in my final year of high school, and I first came to Abba House in 2017 when I was just 12 years old.

Before arriving here, life at home was very difficult. My father struggled with drug addiction, and whenever he was under the influence, our family faced many problems. There were many nights when my mother had to take me to a small hut on the farm so we could stay safe. Eventually, my father was arrested and sent to prison.

Growing up, I longed deeply for a loving and caring father. When I came to Abba House, I began to learn about God’s unfailing love—that He is a good Father who cares for His children. Through His love, God filled the emptiness and longing in my heart.

I continue to pray for my earthly father as well, and over the past year, I have seen real changes in him. This has brought me so much joy and hope. In March 2026, I will graduate from high school.

After graduation, I plan to study to become a Nursing Assistant. My desire is to help others who are in need, just as I have been helped.

I thank God for His faithfulness and for guiding my life with His grace.

To celebrate Children’s Day, the Abba House team to reach out to children at a local Thai school. Together, we distributed 400 Comic Book Bibles and Gospel tracts, along with small snacks, to bring joy and share God’s love with the students.

We believe that every Bible and Gospel tract has meaning and purpose. We prayed that each one would be like a seed planted in good soil, growing in God’s perfect time and bringing hope into the lives of these children.

In Thailand, Children’s Day is celebrated on the second Saturday of January each year. To mark this special occasion, the Abba House staff members took our girls on an exciting outing to Air Base 41 in Chiang Mai.

It was a day full of new experiences and joyful discoveries. The girls were thrilled to watch impressive aerial displays by military aircraft and had the rare opportunity to get up close to the AT-6 TH aircraft. They also enjoyed special performances and live demonstrations by the Air Force Infantry, which left them amazed and inspired.

Laughter, excitement, and wonder filled the day. The girls truly enjoyed every moment, making Children’s Day a memorable and joyful experience they will always remember.

𝗔𝗯𝗯𝗮 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 –

For over 20 years, Abba House Foundation has faithfully served through Prison Ministry, walking alongside men and women during some of the darkest moments of their lives. While much attention is given to prisoners during incarceration, one of the greatest struggles begins after release.

Former prisoners often face rejection when seeking employment. Many employers are hesitant to hire them, while the ex-prisoners themselves struggle to reintegrate into a rapidly changing world. Limited education, lack of vocational skills, and broken confidence make starting over feel almost impossible.

Recognizing this gap between release and real reintegration, Abba House Foundation launched the Abba House Coffee Project—a social enterprise rooted in restoration, dignity, and hope. This project is more than coffee; it is a pathway to transformation.
Through Abba House Coffee, ex-prisoners are given the opportunity to work, learn, and grow in a healthy Christian environment. At the same time, the project supports local Thai Christian farmers by helping them access wider and fairer markets. In the long run, Abba House Coffee also contributes to the financial sustainability of the Foundation, allowing its ministry to continue and expand.

Objectives of the Abba House Coffee Project
1. Create employment opportunities for ex-prisoners, helping them reintegrate into society with dignity and purpose.
2. Provide life skills and vocational training, equipping ex-prisoners to adapt, grow, and succeed in today’s world.
3. Support Thai Christian farmers by promoting their coffee and connecting them to broader markets.
4. Build long-term sustainability for Abba House Foundation through ethical, mission-driven enterprise.

Every bag, every brew tells a story of restoration, community, and the transforming power of God's love. By purchasing Abba House Coffee, you make a real difference in people's lives.

May God bless you abundantly for joining in this work of grace.

On December 19, together with other prison ministry partners, Abba House Foundation organized a Christmas outreach program at Chiang Mai Men’s Prison. About 400 prisoners attended the event, many of whom were non-believers. At the end of the service, an invitation was given for those who wished to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. In that moment, 42 prisoners made the decision to follow Christ. After the message, our team divided into five prayer stations and spent time praying personally with the men according to their needs. It was a deeply moving time filled with God’s presence and compassion.

A few days later, on December 23, we returned to Lamphun Women’s Prison with the YWAM Sweden team. This visit was especially meaningful because it was our first time back in the prison since the COVID-19 pandemic. We truly thank God for opening this door once again. Encouraged by the response, we are now planning to minister at Lamphun Prison on a monthly basis, trusting God to continue His work in the hearts of the women there.

Sometimes, God’s “no” to one plan is a resounding “yes” to another. We recently experienced this when a YWAM team from Montana, whose trip to Nepal was canceled due to political unrest, arrived at our doorstep with short notice.

This incredible team was a tremendous blessing to Abba House, diligently teaching our girls English, Bible lessons, and musical instruments.

Their impact extended beyond our walls. They visited a local Thai school to share the Gospel through powerful testimonies and creative skits. We rejoice in reporting that several boys and girls responded to the altar call, accepting Jesus as their Lord and Savior!

Praise the Lord for His unexpected plans and for the new young believers added to His Kingdom!

Celebrating Success in Education

We thank God that all of the Abba House girls are doing well in their studies and continue to grow in knowledge and character.

We are especially delighted to share about Kem, one of our girls, who was chosen to represent her school in a county-level competition for Thai traditional art. Out of 10 competing schools, Kem achieved first place!

We are so proud of her accomplishment and the dedication she has shown. More importantly, we pray that the Lord will continue to guide her steps, strengthen her gifts, and lead her on the path He has prepared for her future.
