**โตเกียว** – เมื่อวันที่ 19 สิงหาคม 2569 ณ Tokyo Midtown Design Hub (สถานี Roppongi) คุณลักษมี ศรีสมเพชร นายกสมาคมวัฒนหัตถศิลป์ล้านนา (LCCA) ได้รับเชิญให้เข้าร่วมงาน "Midtown Summer Workshop 2026" ที่เปิดพื้นที่ให้เด็กๆ ชาวญี่ปุ่นจำนวน 44 คน ได้มาร่วมสร้างสรรค์งานศิลปะบนหมวกสานไม้ไผ่จาก วิสาหกิจชุมชนกลุ่มจักสานไม้ไผ่ บ้านหนองพม่า จังหวัดตาก (ผลงานจากโครงการ Koyori 2025 โดยครูช่างสมหมาย เพ็งอำไพ) ซึ่งกิจกรรมในครั้งนี้ยังได้รับการสนับสนุนและความร่วมมือจากสำนักงานเกษตรอำเภอเมืองตาก จังหวัดตาก อีกด้วย
ในการนี้ ได้รับเกียรติอย่างสูงจาก ท่านพฤทธิ์ เจริญกลกิจ เลขานุการเอก ที่ปรึกษา (ฝ่ายเกษตร) เดินทางมาร่วมงานเพื่อรับชมบรรยากาศการทำกิจกรรมอย่างใกล้ชิด พร้อมทั้งรับชมการนำเสนอผลงานของเด็กๆ ก่อนจะให้เกียรติกล่าวให้ข้อคิดเห็นที่เป็นประโยชน์และกล่าวปิดกิจกรรมอย่างอบอุ่น
กิจกรรมเวิร์กชอปครั้งนี้ดำเนินงานโดย อาจารย์ฮิโรกิ ฟุรุคาวะ ภายใต้โครงการ “Asobijyutsu” ของศูนย์การเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิต มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปะทามะ ซึ่งผสานคำว่า Asobi (การเล่น) และ Bijyutsu (ศิลปะ) เข้าด้วยกัน โดยมุ่งให้เด็กๆ ได้เรียนรู้วัฒนธรรมไทยและวิถีงานคราฟต์ไปพร้อมกับการเล่นสนุก ตลอดการจัดงาน ทีมสต๊าฟเวิร์กชอปได้ปฏิบัติหน้าที่คอยดูแลให้คำแนะนำน้องๆ อย่างขยันขันแข็ง และบริหารจัดการพื้นที่กิจกรรมได้อย่างเป็นระบบระเบียบเรียบร้อย
ภายในงาน เด็กๆ ได้นำวัสดุเหลือใช้ เช่น เศษไม้ ผ้า ริบบิ้น กระจกสี และกระดาษแก้ว มารังสรรค์หมวกสานให้กลายเป็น "หมวกที่มีเพียงใบเดียวในโลก" ซึ่งผลลัพธ์เต็มไปด้วยไอเดียสุดสร้างสรรค์และไร้ขีดจำกัด อาทิ หมวกนกกระเรียนในป่าใหญ่ หมวกเกาะกลางทะเลที่เต็มไปด้วยต้นไม้ หมวกรูปน้องหมา หมวกเจ้าสาวแมวพร้อมแหวนแต่งงาน และหมวกหอยทาก บรรยากาศตลอดทั้งวันเต็มไปด้วยความน่ารักและเป็นกันเอง โดยในช่วงพักกลางวัน เด็กๆ ต่างพกข้าวกล่องเบนโตะจากบ้านมานั่งรับประทานร่วมกันเพื่อเติมพลังก่อนลุยสร้างสรรค์ผลงานต่อ
ไฮไลต์สำคัญที่สร้างความประทับใจคือการถ่ายทอดสดผ่าน Zoom เชื่อมโยงสัญญาณตรงถึงประเทศไทย เพื่อให้ **"ครูช่างสมหมาย"** ผู้สานหมวกต้นแบบได้ร่วมชมการทำงานของเด็กๆ ตลอดกิจกรรม พร้อมเปิดช่วงเวลาให้เด็กๆ ได้ทักทายกับครูช่างอย่างใกล้ชิด ซึ่งนอกจากจะทำให้เด็กๆ สนใจประเทศไทยมากขึ้นแล้ว ยังได้ฝึกกล่าวทักทายและขอบคุณเป็นภาษาไทยว่า "สวัสดี" และ "ขอบคุณ" ด้วยรอยยิ้ม
"Midtown Summer Workshop 2026" ถือเป็นอีกหนึ่งกิจกรรมที่สะท้อนให้เห็นถึงความสำเร็จที่ไม่ใช่เพียงแค่ความร่วมมือทางวิชาการระหว่าง LCCA และ TAMABI แต่ยังเป็นฟันเฟืองสำคัญในการส่งเสริมและกระชับความสัมพันธ์อันดีระหว่างประเทศไทยและประเทศญี่ปุ่นให้แน่นแฟ้นยิ่งขึ้น ผ่านงานคราฟต์และจินตนาการของเยาวชนอย่างแท้จริง
TOKYO – On August 19, 2026, at the Tokyo Midtown Design Hub (Roppongi Station), Ms. Luxmee Srisomphetch, President of the Lanna Culture and Crafts Association (LCCA), was invited to attend the "Midtown Summer Workshop 2026." The event provided a creative space for 44 Japanese children to design and decorate bamboo woven hats from the Nong Phama Bamboo Weaving Community Enterprise in Tak Province (a product of the Koyori 2025 project crafted by Master Artisan Sommai Pangampai). This workshop was also supported in collaboration with the Mueang Tak District Agriculture Extension Office, Tak Province.
The event was highly honored by the presence of Mr. Pruet Jaroenkolkit, Counsellor (Agricultural), who attended to observe the workshop's lively atmosphere closely and watch the children present their creations. He also graciously delivered insightful remarks and warmly closed the event.
The workshop was conducted by Prof. Hiroki Furukawa under the "Asobijyutsu" project of the Lifelong Learning Center at Tama Art University. Combining "Asobi" (play) and "Bijyutsu" (art), the project aims to help children learn about Thai culture and crafts through play. Throughout the event, the workshop staff worked diligently to guide the children and managed the activity space in a highly organized and systematic manner.
During the workshop, the children used upcycled materials such as wood scraps, fabric, ribbons, stained glass, and cellophane to transform the woven hats into "one-of-a-kind hats in the world." The results were full of boundless creativity and imagination, featuring designs like a crane in a grand forest, an island full of trees in the middle of the sea, a dog-shaped hat, a cat bride with a wedding ring, and a snail hat. The atmosphere throughout the day was filled with cuteness and friendliness. During the lunch break, the children brought their own bento boxes from home, enjoying their meals together to recharge before continuing their creative work.
A major highlight that left a lasting impression was a live Zoom broadcast connecting directly to Thailand, allowing "Master Artisan Sommai," the original weaver of the hats, to watch the children's progress throughout the activity. There was also a special moment for the children to greet the master artisan closely. This not only sparked their interest in Thailand but also gave them a chance to practice saying "Hello" (Sawasdee) and "Thank you" (Khob khun) in Thai with bright smiles.
The "Midtown Summer Workshop 2026" stands as another remarkable event reflecting a success that goes beyond the academic collaboration between LCCA and TAMABI. It serves as a vital driving force in promoting and strengthening the excellent relationship between Thailand and Japan through the crafts and imagination of the youth.
