The day our children go to their adoptive families is always a memorable one. In April, we had two adoptions. It began with a lovely family from Scotland who had been waiting for more than five years to adopt a daughter, and at last, their dream came true. Another family adopted a son and brought him to the United States. We believe that God will guide both families to care for these children in the best possible way, and that these children will become seeds of God’s light, spreading to their families and to many others wherever they go. Truly, it was the day that the Lord has made.

This summer was truly memorable and full of activities. After the school break began, a team from Australia, Keiraview Uniting Church, helped organize fun experiences for the children, including crafts, games, and outdoor trips like swimming at Tube Trek Water Park, the lake, and the little waterpark for preschool children. Everyone enjoyed swimming and sharing a picnic together at the lake. We were also delighted to welcome back some of our former children, who have now graduated and are working, as they returned during Songkran to pay their respects and offer New Year blessings to Mae Avis in celebration of the Thai New Year.
We are grateful to the Australian team for bringing joy and refreshment to the children each year, and we thank God for His grace and love for us all.

Thai New Year has come once again—a special day when we honor and show respect to the elders we love and cherish. This beautiful Thai tradition reflects the bond we share as a family, especially as a family in Christ. The children poured water over the hands of their elders, Mae Avis and Por Roy, as a sign of respect and blessing. This year, we were especially blessed to have Mae Kelly, Por Peter, and Por Ross from Australia join us for the celebration. The children also had great fun playing in the water to cool off from the heat. Last but not least, the children enjoyed delicious shrimp crackers, pancakes with Bavarian cream and chocolate toppings & refreshing slushies in pineapple and blueberry flavors. We thank God for this wonderful day that He has made for us.

This year’s Easter was filled with laughter and smiles from both the children and the staff. It began with our first activity—painting Easter eggs and decorating them in various designs. There was even an egg painted to look like Mae Avis, too! The children showed wonderful creativity in their egg painting.

We then continued by watching the story and learning the true meaning of Easter—that Christ is our Savior, that He rose from the dead, and that He is the living God.

After that, the children went on an egg hunt, searching for eggs hidden in different areas around Agape Home. Finally, we announced awards for four staff members who achieved the greatest weight loss over the past three months. God has blessed them, and they have also become much healthier. May all that we have done bring glory to God.

March 30th, 2026 was another wonderful day as we celebrated the achievements of our children who graduated from Grade 6, Grade 9, Vocational Certificate (Year 3), and Higher Vocational Certificate (Year 2) from a community college. We thank God for the success of each child and pray that He will continue to guide them in their further studies, internships, and future work.

Today is another day filled with great joy as a young child has been adopted to live with a family in the Netherlands. We believe this is God’s plan for him to be part of this family alongside his half-brother. We trust that he will grow up surrounded by love, have a good life, and become a seed of the good news within his family, sharing what he has received from Agape Home.

We are delighted to welcome five beautiful baby girls who joined the Agape family two days ago. We thank God for this special gift entrusted to us, and for the opportunity to provide a warm and caring home where these children can grow and develop in the ways of the Lord.

Caring for children certainly involves significant expenses, yet we truly see the value and preciousness of each of these little ones. We are deeply grateful to all our sponsors who have faithfully supported the children under the care of Agape Home.

If you feel led to support the sponsorship of these five children, please feel free to email us. We look forward to hearing from you and sharing further updates with you.

A small but encouraging update for our U.S.-based Agape Home family 🤍 Starting in 2026, many U.S. donors who take the standard deduction may be able to deduct up to $1,000 (or $2,000 for married couples) in cash donations to qualified charities. Why does this matter? Because it affirms something we already believe: faithful, consistent giving—no matter the size—truly matters. As always, please speak with your tax advisor about what applies to your personal situation. We simply wanted to share this as an encouragement and a thank-you for standing with our children in love and faith. (This update applies to U.S. tax filers. Changing Lives Canada donors are encouraged to follow CRA guidelines.)

As we welcomed the New Year, our hearts were filled with joy and gratitude as we joined the Children’s Day celebrations organized by Baan Viangping Children’s Home. It was a wonderful opportunity for the children to come together and experience love, joy, and fellowship.

The event included a sports day where all the children were divided into teams. This year, the children from Agape Home were part of the red team. Through various competitions and traditional Thai games, the children were able to enjoy healthy activities that encouraged teamwork, friendship, and the well-being of both body and mind.

One of the highlights of the day was a recycled costume contest under the theme “Dream Job.” The costumes were thoughtfully created using recycled materials such as egg cartons, bubble wrap, and rice sacks, beautifully decorated with creative flowers.

Our young boy presented his dream career as a football player, while our young girl shared her dream of becoming a nurse. Both costumes were made from recycled rice sacks, reflecting not only creativity but also care for God’s creation.

The children were overjoyed and deeply encouraged to receive first prize for their creativity. After the activities, everyone enjoyed a variety of delicious meals generously prepared by Baan Viangping, along with special fried chicken lovingly made by Mae Nit for both the children and caregivers.

The day was filled with laughter, joy, and unity. Children and caregivers had a wonderful time celebrating Sports Day and Children’s Day together. This was a blessed day, and we thank God for His goodness, provision, and the loving community He has surrounded us with.

Thank you for standing with us and for being part of God’s work in the lives of these precious children. Your prayers and support continue to make moments like these possible.

Happy New Year 2026, everyone.
