Community Based Tourism Network - Thailand

Community Based Tourism Network - Thailand The CBT platform with all information of more than 30 communities through Thailand! CBT-N-CC is based in Chiang Mai, the cultural capital of Thailand.

The CBT-N Coordination Center (CBT-N-CC)

The Thailand CBT Network Coordination Center is a central hub responsible for information and promoting CBT-N members, as well as coordinating between members and stakeholders. The center gives information to the public, tourists, tour operators, government, NGO’s and academics interested to learn about, visit, or work with member CBT communities. CBT-N-CC is responsible for helping its members to access manageable numbers of responsible visitors: tourists who are interested to meet local people, experience and learn about Thai life. The Coordination Center can assist responsible tour operators to identify CBT communities which are appropriate for the needs of their trips and guests. The CBT-N Coordination Center has a database of information about different CBT communities and the programs and services available in these communities, as well as the types of trips and guests which different communities are best suited to host.
