คณะศรัทธาและคณะบุคคลตัวเล็กกับการอนุรักษ์

09.00 ตกแต่งองค์ผ้าป่าสามัคคี
10.09 ประกอบพิธีทางศาสนา
11.00 ถวายภัตตาหารเพลแก่พระภิกษุ สามเณร
เชิญคณะศรัทธาร่วมรับประทานอาหารกลางวัน

เพื่อบูรณปฏิสังขรณ์อาคารพิพิทธภัณฑ์วัดเกต เนื่องด้วยพิพิธภัณฑ์หลังนี้แต่เดิมเป็นกุฎิอดีตเจ้าอาวาสสร้างตั้งแต่ปีพ.ศ. 2458 ปัจจุบันมีอายุ 108 ปี ภายหลังปีพ.ศ. 2542 คณะสงฆ์ คณะศรัทธาร่วมกันพัฒนาเปิดเป็นอาคารพิพิธภัณฑ์ท้องถิ่น เพื่อเป็นแหล่งศึกษาเรียนรู้แก่นักเรียนนักศึกษาตลอดถึงนักท่องเที่ยว ปัจจุบันอาการหลังนี้มีสภาพทรุดโทรมไปตามกาลเวลา จึงต้องมีการบูรณะปฏิสังขรณ์ให้อยู่ในสภาพมั่นคงแข็งแรงและสืบทอดการเป็นแหล่งเรียนรู้ต่อไป

ในส่วนของพิพิทธภัณฑ์ชุมชน/ท้องถิ่น นับว่าเป็นแห่งแรกๆของเชียงใหม่ น่าชื่นชม ในคราวที่มีโอกาสได้พบลุงแจ๊คผู้ก่อตั้ง ได้สัมผัสถึงความตั้งใจและความรัก ความทุ่มเทที่มีต่อพิพิทธภัณฑ์แห่งนี้

ในช่วง 10 ปีที่ผ่านมา กลุ่มคนตัวเล็กและภาควิชาศิลปะไทย คณะวิจิตรศิลป์ มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ได้มีโอกาสเข้ามาช่วยรวมถึงทําทะเบียนวัตถุจัดแสดง สนับสนุนการเรียนรู้ให้กับนักศึกษาและผู้ที่เข้าชม สอดคล้องกับการเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิต หรือ life long learning

มาช่วยกันเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการสืบทอดเจตนารมณ์นี้ด้วยกัน
