Child's Dream

Educated and empowered people responsibly shaping and sustaining fair, just and healthy societies.

Child’s Dream exists to ensure that children and young adults in the Mekong Sub-Region, affected by inequality, grow up to be healthy and have access to quality education and employment opportunities. To achieve this, we design, implement, and partner to support interventions in Myanmar, Cambodia, Lao PDR, and Thailand. These interventions focus on education, employability, youth empowerment, lead

ership, and basic and essential healthcare. Our team is made up of passionate, purpose-driven individuals connected by a common set of values; we aim to support beneficiaries in becoming educated and empowered people who responsibly shape and sustain fair, just and healthy societies for generations to come.

Every child belongs in school, not at work.

For many children, education is more than a classroom. It offers protection and a pathway out of poverty. On World Day Against Child Labour, we recognise that when children are kept out of school, they are more vulnerable to exploitation. But when they can learn in a safe and supportive environment, they have the chance to grow, dream, and build brighter futures.

Through our work to improve access to education, we support children by strengthening community-based learning opportunities, raising awareness of their right to learn, and providing scholarships that help keep them in school. 📚✏️

Our University Scholarship students in Thailand are off to a great start in their first semester!

Child’s Dream recently brought the cohort together for a fun training weekend, where students strengthened their teamwork, critical thinking and public speaking skills – all while making memories with their peers.

On 12 May 2026, Child’s Dream Founders, Marc Jenni and Daniel Siegfried, had the opportunity to speak at the KMU SWISS Networking Gathering in Solothurn on the topic of “Courage to Change: How Two Bankers Built a Successful Social Enterprise”.

Hosted by 3i Business Solutions AG, the event was part of a wider series of KMU SWISS symposia, networking gatherings, and industry meet-ups organised throughout the year to bring entrepreneurial-minded individuals together to exchange ideas, build connections, and inspire innovation.

A powerful story from our partner, The Inclusive Education Foundation (InEd).

“Sayama (Teaching Between Worlds)” follows migrant teachers on the Thai–Myanmar border who continue teaching amid crisis and displacement. Through immense emotional and intellectual labour, they create stability and possibility for children caught between nations, driven by the belief that education is the bridge to a better future.

Success was definitely part of the day! On Tuesday, 5th May, the 3rd edition of the Charity Golf Tournament took place, bringing together players, sponsors, and supporters for a meaningful cause. ⛳✨

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed to making this event such a success. Thanks to your generosity and support, this initiative will help fund the construction of a school in Cambodia and make a real difference in the lives of many children.
