🎉 ประเทศไทยคว้าสิทธิ์เป็นเจ้าภาพจัดการประชุมวิชาการด้านหุ่นยนต์และปัญญาประดิษฐ์ระดับโลก ICRA 2030 🦾

📍 กรุงเวียนนา ประเทศออสเตรีย — 6 มิถุนายน 2569

เมื่อวันที่ 6 มิถุนายน 2569 ณ กรุงเวียนนา ประเทศออสเตรีย คณะทำงานตัวแทนประเทศไทยได้นำเสนอความพร้อมต่อคณะกรรมการบริหาร (AdCom) ของ IEEE Robotics & Automation Society (RAS) และผลการตัดสินระบุว่าประเทศไทยประสบความสำเร็จในการคว้าสิทธิ์เป็นเจ้าภาพจัดการประชุมวิชาการนานาชาติด้านหุ่นยนต์และระบบอัตโนมัติ ประจำปี ค.ศ. 2030 (IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation: ICRA 2030) อย่างเป็นทางการ ซึ่งถือเป็นการประชุมวิชาการด้านหุ่นยนต์และปัญญาประดิษฐ์ที่มีขนาดใหญ่ที่สุดในโลก โดยมีเป้าหมายรองรับผู้เข้าร่วมงานกว่า 12,000 คน

การนำเสนอในครั้งนี้นำโดย รศ. ดร.จักรกฤษณ์ ศุทธากรณ์ และ ดร.นันทิดา นิลหุต ศูนย์เครือข่ายวิจัยประยุกต์ทางเทคโนโลยีหุ่นยนต์และชีวการแพทย์ (BART LAB) มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ร่วมกับ ดร.จารุวรรณ สุวรรณศาสน์ รองผู้อำนวยการ สำนักงานส่งเสริมการจัดประชุมและนิทรรศการ (องค์การมหาชน) หรือ TCEB โดยได้รับการสนับสนุนทางวิชาการจากคณะที่ปรึกษาระดับโลก ได้แก่ Prof. Oussama Khatib (Stanford University); Prof. Oliver Brock (TU Berlin); และ Prof. Gregory Chirikjian (Johns Hopkins University)

ความสำเร็จดังกล่าวเกิดจากความร่วมมืออย่างบูรณาการของหน่วยงานหลัก 3 ภาคส่วน ได้แก่ (i) IEEE RAS Thailand Chapter; (ii) คณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล; และ (iii) สมาคมหุ่นยนต์และปัญญาประดิษฐ์ทางการแพทย์ไทย นอกจากนี้ การดำเนินงานจะได้รับการสนับสนุนจากเครือข่ายสถาบันการศึกษาและหน่วยงานระดับชาติ ประกอบด้วย มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล; สถาบันเทคโนโลยีแห่งเอเชีย (AIT); จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย; สถาบันวิทยาการหุ่นยนต์ภาคสนาม (FIBO) มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าธนบุรี; สถาบันเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าเจ้าคุณทหารลาดกระบัง; มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่; มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์; มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์; สำนักงานพัฒนาวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีแห่งชาติ (สวทช.); และกระทรวงการอุดมศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัยและนวัตกรรม (อว.)

รศ. ดร.จักรกฤษณ์ ศุทธากรณ์ ได้ประกาศยืนยันความสำเร็จในครั้งนี้ว่า "ICRA2030 will be in Thailand!" ซึ่งเป็นเครื่องยืนยันว่านักวิจัยและผู้เชี่ยวชาญระดับโลกด้านหุ่นยนต์ทั้งหมดจะเดินทางมารวมตัวกันที่ประเทศไทยในปี ค.ศ. 2030 การจัดงานในครั้งนี้ได้รับการประเมินว่าจะสามารถสร้างผลกระทบทางเศรษฐกิจระดับชาติ (National Economic Impact) ได้ไม่ต่ำกว่า 1,500 ล้านบาท ซึ่งถือเป็นการสร้างประโยชน์อย่างเป็นรูปธรรมต่อทั้งภาคเทคโนโลยีและระบบเศรษฐกิจของประเทศ
