FFWPU Buriram Report – Emergency Relief Support
On July 24, 2025, a violent clash involving gunfire broke out between Cambodia and Thailand, leading to a sudden influx of refugees from the border area into Buriram City.
The FFWPU Buriram team with Mrs. Nanthapon (Mae Ying) received a call from generous donors offering goods and drinking water for those affected by the ongoing crisis. Without delay, the team mobilized to collect the donations and promptly delivered them to the evacuation shelter to support the displaced families.
Mrs. Phimphen, a member of the Chumhed tribe and a local hotel owner, shared a moving testimony. She said that two days prior, she felt inspired by the Heavenly Parent to wash and prepare unused bedding sets. Because of this inspiration, she was able to make a timely and generous donation of those bedding sets to the Family Federation. In addition, she contributed 600 bottles of drinking water.
All donations were officially received by the Deputy Governor of Buriram Province..
