During District 17 Governor Beng Puyat, Area 6 Director Lalivan Karnchanacharri, President Zonta Club of Bangkok I Ladda Ratirojanakul, Zontaian Runcha Boribalburibhand agreed upon the consent of all that Z.Runcha to be the SOM Chairman to give support in setting up a new Zonta Club of Bangkok and invite Zontian Romanee Thienprasiddhi (position at that time VP Zonta Club of Bangkok I) to be
the Charter President of the new club, Zonta Club of Bangkok IX. The Club was chartered and having compied with all requirements necessary for membership of Zonta International and was given Club No. 1896 on May 3rd, 2012. At present, Zontian Sasamon Sanguansin is the Club President with her 2 years term of 2014-2016.
