🔋TGC EMC ร่วมกับ สนพ. จัดประชุมวิเคราะห์ช่องว่างระบบกักเก็บพลังงานไทย
เมื่อวันที่ 18 สิงหาคม 2569 ที่ผ่านมา โครงการความร่วมมือไทย-เยอรมันด้านพลังงาน คมนาคม และการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ (Thai-German Cooperation on Energy, Mobility and Climate: TGC EMC) ได้จัดงานประชุมเชิงปฏิบัติการ การศึกษาวิเคราะห์ช่องว่างการพัฒนาระบบกักเก็บพลังงานสำหรับประเทศไทย (BESS Gap Analysis) ครั้งที่ 2 “Gap Analysis Assessment” ซึ่งต่อยอดจากผลลัพธ์ในการวิเคราะห์ช่องว่างของระบบกักเก็บพลังงานของประเทศไทยและการประชุม BESS Gap Analysis ครั้งที่ 1

งานประชุมครั้งนี้มุ่งเน้นการทบทวนแผนการส่งเสริมและพัฒนาระบบกักเก็บพลังงานของไทย พร้อมส่งเสริมการรู้แลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นจากหลากหลายหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง โดยผู้เชี่ยวชาญระดับโลกจาก Energynautics และ Solar Power Europe ได้ต่อยอดความคืบหน้าจากการประชุมครั้งแรกในการวิเคราะห์ช่องว่างและเจาะลึกข้อมูลทั้ง 4 เสาหลักยุทธศาสตร์สำคัญ ได้แก่ 1) การนำไปใช้งาน (Utilisation) 2) การผลิต (Production) 3) กฎหมายและมาตรฐาน (Laws and Standards) 4) การวิจัย พัฒนา และกำลังคน (R&D and Workforce) ซึ่งครอบคลุมหลายประเด็นสำคัญ เช่น ขาดการสนับสนุนระบบกักเก็บพลังงานที่ชัดเจน และมาตรฐานความปลอดภัยในการใช้งานแบตเตอรี่ เป็นต้น

โครงการ TGC EMC ร่วมมือกับสำนักงานนโยบายและแผนพลังงาน (สนพ.) ในการดำเนินงานวิเคราะห์ช่องว่างระบบกักเก็บพลังงานด้วยแบตเตอรี่ (BESS Gap Analysis) เพื่อทบทวนสถานะปัจจุบัน วิเคราะห์ศักยภาพ และขับเคลื่อนแผนปฏิบัติการส่งเสริมอุตสาหกรรมระบบกักเก็บพลังงาน ปี 2567-2575 ให้สอดคล้องกับ Net Zero ในปี 2593 ของประเทศ

🔋TGC EMC and EPPO Thailand Share Gap Analysis Insights on Thailand's Battery Energy Storage System
On 18 August 2026, the Thai-German Cooperation on Energy, Mobility, and Climate (TGC EMC), Energy Policy and Planning Office (EPPO) successfully organised the second virtual workshop on the "BESS Gap Analysis Workshop Series #2 - Gap Analysis Assessment." The workshop built on the result of Thailand Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) gap analysis and the outcomes of the first BESS Gap Analysis workshop #1.
The workshop focused on revisiting Thailand’s BESS action plans for promoting and developing energy storage systems, while facilitating the exchange of perspectives and insights among relevant stakeholders. Continued from the first workshop, global experts from Energynautics and SolarPower Europe analysed and shared insights into gap analysis across four key BESS strategic pillars: 1) Utilisation, 2) Production, 3) Laws and Standards, and 4) R&D and Workforce, focusing on key issues such as market demand and incentive for energy storage systems and safety standards for batteries.
TGC EMC is collaborating closely with the Energy Policy and Planning Office (EPPO) to deliver a comprehensive BESS gap analysis. This initiative reviews current progress and identifies potentials aligned with Thailand's accelerated Net Zero goals and the Action Plan for Energy Storage System Industry Promotion 2024-2032, paving the way toward the 2050 Net Zero target.

🤝 Last Friday (14 August 2026), joined Bangkok Metropolitan Administration’s “Friends of Bangkok: Connecting Global Partners for Livable City & Prosperity” at Lumpini Park, where Bangkok Governor Chadchart Sittipunt shared BMA’s vision and priorities for smart city development, new economic opportunities and climate action with international partners.
GIZ Thailand has been working with BMA through projects including TGC EMC and CAP SEA, with examples including:

💡สรุปความคืบหน้าโครงการ TGC EMC จากการประชุมคณะกรรมการกำกับโครงการฯ
เมื่อวันที่ 24 กรกฎาคม พ.ศ. 2569 โครงการความร่วมมือไทย-เยอรมันด้านพลังงาน คมนาคม และการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ (TGC EMC) จัดการประชุมคณะกรรมการกำกับโครงการ ครั้งที่ 1 ของปี 2569 ณ กรมการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศและสิ่งแวดล้อม โดยมีผู้แทนจาก 8 หน่วยงานภาครัฐเข้าร่วม ร่วมกันพิจารณาและหารือถึงความคืบหน้าและผลสัมฤทธิ์จากการขับเคลื่อนโครงการตลอดช่วงครึ่งปีที่ผ่านมา

ชีวมวล 🌾: ที่นครสวรรค์ มีการทดสอบการใช้ไบโอชาร์บำรุงดิน ประเมินประสิทธิภาพเตาเผากับชีวมวลหลากหลายชนิด และพัฒนาหลักสูตรฝึกอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการเพื่อส่งเสริมเกษตรกรหญิง
กองทุน ThaiCI 🪙: อัปเดตทเดทการจัดสรรเงินทุนแก่ SME ไทยเพื่อโครงการลดก๊าซและรับมือการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ รวมถึงตัวอย่างโครงการปรับตัวที่กำลังดำเนินงานใน กทม. และเชียงใหม่
งานประชุมดังกล่าวเน้นย้ำถึงบทบาทที่สำคัญของความร่วมมือระหว่างหน่วยงานรัฐไทยและภาคีระหว่างประเทศ รวมถึงประเทศเยอรมนี เพื่อขับเคลื่อนประเทศไทยสู่เป้าหมายคาร์บอนเป็นศูนย์ภายในปี 2593 และการรับมือการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศในระดับโลก

💡1/2026 TGC EMC Progress Recap from Project Steering Committee Meeting
On 24 July 2026, the Thai-German Cooperation on Energy, Mobility and Climate (TGC EMC) held its first Steering Committee Meeting of the year at the Department of Climate Change and Environment (DCCE), convening eight Thai governmental agencies to discuss and review its progress and results from implementation over the first half of the year.
📌 Highlights:
Renewable Energy⚡: Completed the ‘2030 Visions: Analysis on Priorities for RE deployment in the Thai Power system’ report, Bangkok Solar PV Guidebook and Prosumer business model study; and rolled out Solar-to-X city labs across Thailand, including a Solar Pumping pilot in Chonburi, Net-zero Industrial Estates in Chonburi and Pathum Thani, AquaSense AI for prawn farms in Songkhla and more.
Transport 🚌:Published the Thailand EV Outlook 2026 Second-life battery and battery waste management. EV integration and Low Emission Zone (L*Z) city labs in Bangkok, Nakhon Sri Thammarat and Phuket have also been launched.
Decarbonisation in Industry 🏭: Advanced decarbonisation pathways in key hard-to-abate sectors (cement, food & beverage, iron & steel, petrochemical) and partnered with TCMA on the Saraburi Sandbox city lab for cement decarbonisation.
Biomass🌾:Testing biochar-on-soil applications, evaluating boiler performance with various biomass types, and empowering local female farmers through development of practical trainings in Nakhon Sawan.
Thai Climate Initiative (ThaiCI)🪙: Provided updates on fund seeding for mitigation and adaptations projects by SMEs in Thailand, including ongoing adaptation projects in Bangkok and Chiang Mai.
This meeting reaffirmed the essential role of collaboration between Thai governmental agencies and international partners, including Germany, to drive the country’s net-zero target by 2050 as well as climate action at a global level.

สมาคมอุตสาหกรรมปูนซีเมนต์ไทย (TCMA) ร่วมกับ GIZ ภายใต้โครงการ TGC EMC เดินหน้าผลักดันแผนการผลิตปูนซีเมนต์คาร์บอนต่ำ จัดการประชุมใหญ่ “TCMA x GIZ at TCMA Technical Conference 2026” ภายใต้แนวคิด : Cement Decarbonisation in Practice เพื่อนำประสบการณ์และเทคโนโลยีจากเยอรมนีมาประยุกต์ใช้ในไทยอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม

TCMA partners with GIZ to elevate the Thai cement industry toward Net Zero 2050! 🌏🏗️
The Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA), in collaboration with GIZ Thailand under the TGC EMC project, is accelerating the roadmap for low-carbon cement production. We recently hosted the “TCMA x GIZ at TCMA Technical Conference 2026” under the theme : Cement Decarbonisation in Practice, focusing on applying German expertise and technology to drive real-world implementation in Thailand.
Key Highlights:
🔹 Progress in Thailand: We have successfully reached 90% hydraulic cement usage and 30% utilization of Alternative Fuels and Raw Materials (AFR). We are moving forward through the SARABURI SANDBOX project to test cutting-edge innovations like LC3 cement and low-carbon methanol.
🔹 Global Cooperation: Germany remains fully committed to supporting Thailand through policy guidance, technology transfer, and capacity building to facilitate our transition to a low-carbon economy.
🔹 Governmental Support: The government is accelerating legal and financial frameworks to support Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) technologies, making it easier for the private sector to act.
🔹 Expert Knowledge Exchange: Global experts from Siemens, thyssenkrupp, and others joined us to share insights on integrating AI and automation into cement production.
This collaboration marks a significant milestone in turning challenges into opportunities, paving the way for Thailand’s cement industry to become a leader in low-carbon development for the ASEAN region.
