Our Mission: ARC works with its partners and constituencies to provide opportunities and expertise to refugees, displaced people and host communities. We help people survive conflict and crisis and rebuild lives of dignity, health, security and self-sufficiency. ARC is committed to the delivery of programs that ensure measurable quality and lasting impact for the people we serve. Our Vision: Every
person who participates in an ARC program or project will have a better chance to take control of their life and achieve self sufficiency. WHAT WE DO
Vector control and personal protection
The effectiveness of treated Long Lasting Insecticidal Nets (LLINs) distribution will be increased through the distribution of added personal protection tools in the form of repellent and hammock nets (provided by BVBD). BCC and advocacy for an increased awareness of self-protection
Conduct activities that provide potentially positive results towards the main objective: containment of artemisinin resistance by malaria elimination. Business owners and employers are the target beneficiaries of BCC and advocacy relating to self-protection. The messaging will be targeted towards explaining the importance of RDT, ACT and DOTs. Heath system strengthening, monitoring & evaluation
Indicators of existing SSF Malaria grants have been revised to better reflect the performance of program implementation and demonstrate the achievements of the National Malaria Control Program.
