Perth and Santa inspire millions through their work, but what impresses me just as much is seeing their fans transform that inspiration into real action. When a community is built on kindness and compassion, its impact reaches far beyond the screen.

Saturday is cleaning day. 🧹

At Wat Sakraeo, it’s just as important as going to school. Learning to keep your surroundings clean is a lesson for life—one that teaches responsibility, respect, and pride in what you have.

And this Saturday brings even more reasons to smile. We received several new sponsorships and commitments this week, giving us renewed hope that we can continue supporting these wonderful children and making their future a little brighter.

When I look into the frightened eyes of a little boy who has just arrived at the orphanage, I ask myself: What am I supposed to tell him?
“Everything will be okay?”
The painful truth is that not everything will be okay!

The first two words he ever learned — Mom and Dad — have suddenly become memories!
In that moment, I realize how incredibly fragile a child’s heart can be. Behind those frightened eyes is a little soul desperately searching for safety, for warmth, for someone who cares. Someone who will tell him that he matters. Someone who will stay.

These children need our love. They need our time. They are worthy of being loved, hugged, encouraged, and believed in.

Many of us still have the luxury of calling our parents, hearing their voices, feeling their support. We often take that for granted.
These children don’t have that luxury.

What they have is hope — and hope survives because of people willing to care. We cannot give them back what they have lost. We cannot erase their pain. But together, we can help them discover that the world still has kindness in.
And for a child who has lost everything, that can mean the whole world.

One of the greatest gifts we can give our children is not wealth, toys, or technology — it is responsibility.

When children learn to clean, tidy up, and take care of their surroundings, they learn much more than housekeeping. They learn respect, discipline, gratitude, and pride in their own work. They understand that every task has value and that no job is beneath anyone.

A child who learns to pick up a broom today may grow into an adult who takes responsibility for their family, community, and the world around them tomorrow.

Cleaning is not a punishment. It is a life skill. It teaches children that we all contribute, we all help, and we all take care of the places and people we love.

The lessons learned with a simple broom often stay with us for a lifetime.

Today, Charlie and Jonty spent time with orphans in Thailand, which my Iceman Charity supports for many years.

People sharing their time, their hearts, and their kindness with children who deserve every chance to smile, dream, and feel loved.

Moments like these remind us that life is not only measured by the positions we hold, the deals we close, or the things we own. It is measured by the lives we touch, the hope we inspire, and the love we leave behind.

In the end, the greatest legacy we can create is not just success, but making the world a little brighter.

⚽ Football is one of the essential sports at Wat Sakraeo Orphanage – and not only for boys.

It’s where teamwork is learned, confidence grows, and fair play becomes part of everyday life.
Our grass sports field, however, has reached a point where passion alone is no longer enough. Proper irrigation, leveling, and basic maintenance machinery are needed to keep the field safe and playable for the children.

So we did what has always worked best:
We put it on our list.

Together with SIS Pitches, we are looking at practical, sustainable solutions.

We are happy to announce that we have been able to extend the contract with our cleaning team for another year — made possible by a few last-minute donors who stepped in when it truly mattered.

This is more than cleaning.
