นิทรรศการ Imperfect Stories เรื่องราวที่ไม่สมบูรณ์แบบ โดย รัฐพล ปัญญาทา สำรวจแนวคิดเรื่อง “ความไม่สมบูรณ์แบบ” ในฐานะสภาวะพื้นฐานของมนุษย์ ท่ามกลางบริบทที่สังคมมักให้คุณค่ากับความสมบูรณ์แบบในเชิงอุดมคติ ศิลปินนำเสนอผ่านงานจิตรกรรม โดยมองความไม่สมบูรณ์ว่าเป็นแหล่งกำเนิดของความหมายและคุณค่าทางสุนทรียะ ซึ่งใช้ “กระดาษยับ” เป็นสัญลักษณ์แทนร่องรอยของเวลา การกระทำและประสบการณ์ที่สะสม สะท้อนความเปลี่ยนแปลงและความไม่แน่นอน ผ่านโครงสร้างของภาพ องค์ประกอบ และพื้นผิว ควบคู่ไปกับการทดลองเชิงเทคนิค ซึ่งเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของกระบวนการสร้างความหมายในงาน

ผลงานยังได้รับอิทธิพลจากวัตถุส่วนตัว เช่น ของเล่น หนังสือ ภาพถ่าย และภาพร่าง (Sketch) ซึ่งเป็นตัวแทนของความทรงจำและช่วงเวลาเฉพาะ สะท้อนการทับซ้อนของประสบการณ์และการเคลื่อนผ่านของเวลา ซึ่งแนวคิดนี้สอดคล้องกับปรัชญา Wabi-Sabi ที่ให้คุณค่ากับความไม่ถาวรและความไม่สมบูรณ์ Imperfect Stories จึงเป็นพื้นที่ให้ผู้ชมมาทบทวนความหมายของความสมบูรณ์แบบ ผ่านประสบการณ์เชิงสุนทรียะ และเข้าใจความไม่สมบูรณ์ในฐานะเงื่อนไขสำคัญของการเป็นมนุษย์

Imperfect Stories by Rattapon Panyata explores the idea of “imperfection” as a fundamental condition of human existence, within a society that often values idealized perfection. Through painting, the artist presents imperfection as a source of meaning and aesthetic value. “Crumpled paper” is used as a key symbol to represent traces of time, actions, and accumulated experiences, reflecting change and uncertainty through composition, structure, and surface, together with technical experimentation as part of the meaning-making process.

The works are also influenced by personal objects such as toys, books, photographs, and sketches, which represent memories and specific moments. These elements reflect overlapping experiences and the passage of time. This concept resonates with the philosophy of Wabi-Sabi, which values impermanence and imperfection. Imperfect Stories becomes a space for viewers to reconsider the meaning of perfection through aesthetic experience, and to understand imperfection as an essential condition of being human.
