🐝 World Bee Day 🐝
Small creatures, huge impact. Bees pollinate around a third of the food we eat — from tropical fruits here in Thailand to crops around the world. Without them, ecosystems (and school lunches) would look very different.
With us at the Barge Program, students don’t just learn about biodiversity — they step into it. Whether it’s exploring the forests of Khao Yai or Khao Kitchikut, planting pollinator-friendly species like rice, trees and more, or seeing firsthand how ecosystems connect, we value bringing us humans closer to nature.
Because protecting the environment isn’t just a concept - it’s all around us, crucial to our survival and yet also under threat from us.
🌼 This World Bee Day, we’re celebrating the tiny workers that keep our world growing!
Come and join us on a Barge Trip and you may see some wonderful bee hives and learn about them too…
