Dogs of Bangkok: Meet Selkie (Selkie เลดี้ชเนาเซอร์ 🦭🐾)

Extrovert. Seal. Pup. 🐾

Selkie is a Miniature Schnauzer from Bang Na, born this March and still working out how big the world is. Her owner Song sums her up in three words, and the seal part is obvious the moment she looks up at you. 🦭

She does her rounds from a stroller, and Bangkok’s east side is her territory. Long lakeside loops at Bueng Nong Bon. Afternoons at DAS HAUS BKK. And when the heat sets in, the cool corridors of Megabangna_TH.

Six months old. Three favorite spots. Plenty of Bangkok still to sniff out.

Dogs of Bangkok: Meet Pony

A small Poodle from Thonglor with a big appetite for the outdoors 🐾

Pony’s favorite days are spent trotting around Benchakitti Park with her dawgs — laps in the cooler hours, plenty of stops to say hello.

And when it’s time to head home, she takes the scenic route. Pony is a huge fan of a breezy tuk tuk ride, ears back, taking in the whole city on the way.

Some dogs walk Bangkok. Pony rides it 🤍

Dogs of Bangkok: Meet Tyrion (Tyrion Mettaphan)

A Miniature Schnauzer with naturally upright ears, a tiny body, and short little legs. Many people still think he’s a puppy. 🐾

Tyrion is now 5 years old and is learning how to socialize with other dogs. Sometimes he doesn’t quite know the best way to say hello, but he’s always excited to meet new friends.

Every morning, Tyrion loves going for a car ride with Mom and Dad to the local fresh market. On Sunday evenings, he enjoys running around at Thian Thale Phatthana Phrueksa Phirom Park in Bang Khun Thian.

His family sends a thank you to everyone for their kindness and advice. Tyrion will keep learning and doing his best to be a good boy. 🤍

Dogs of Bangkok: Meet Walker (J. Walker Husky)

A Siberian Husky with a big personality and an even bigger appetite for Bangkok’s parks 🐾

Originally from Manila, Walker now calls Bang Na home — and his weeks are full of green space and good company.

You’ll catch him stretching his legs at Mega Park, taking in the lake views at Nong Bon Lake Park over in Prawet, and hanging out over coffee at BK SALON.
