🌏 The 7th Asian Conference on Geography (ACG 2027)

Conference theme:
“Mapping Change, Shaping Futures: Geography and Geoinformatics for a Sustainable Asia”
ACG 2027 invites researchers, academics, geographers, geospatial professionals, educators, practitioners, and students from Asia and beyond to exchange knowledge, establish professional networks, and explore the environmental, technological, social, cultural, and economic transformations shaping Asia and the wider world.
Conference tracks include Climate and Environmental Change; Natural Hazards; Ecosystems and Biodiversity; Culture, Heritage and Place; Human–Environment Interactions; Population and Development; GIScience, Remote Sensing and Cartography; GeoAI and Spatial Data Science; Urban and Economic Geography; Geography Education; and emerging issues in geography and geoinformatics.
📣 Call for Abstracts
🗓️ Abstract submission: 1 October 2026 – 15 March 2027
✅ Notification of acceptance: 1 April 2027
🐦 Early Bird registration: 1 January – 30 April 2027
📝 Full-paper submission for journal consideration: 1 April – 31 May 2027
Original abstracts are invited for oral and poster presentations. Accepted abstracts will be published in the ACG 2027 Book of Abstracts. Selected high-quality papers may be invited for submission to Scopus-indexed partner journals ranked Q2 or above, subject to peer review and the editorial policies of the respective journals.

English will be the official conference language. The Opening Ceremony is scheduled to take place at Chulalongkorn University Auditorium, while the scientific sessions and poster presentations will be held at a hotel in Bangkok, with further details to be announced.
