ASEAN Youth Organization - Thailand

ASEAN Community : ONE CARING and SHARING community of 10 Southeast Asian Nations. E-mail : [email protected]

ASEAN Youth Organization was founded in 2013 by two ASEAN youths, Senjaya Mulia from Indonesia and Vanna Hay from Cambodia. This initiation arose because they were part of the ASEAN Community page, an online platform managed by youths from ASEAN countries and shared about ASEAN Cultures. In 2018, AYO received the ASEAN name authorization from the ASEAN Secretariat and established the AYO Social Enterprise in Singapore and Indonesia. Since then, AYO has established other arm’s organizations to support its sustainability: AYOAcademy, AYORecent, AYOPost, and AYOEnviro.

**Some walks take you somewhere.
Some walks bring people together. 🌇🩵**

On 5 July 2026, we walked, talked, exchanged ideas, made new friends, and created memories at Benjakitti Park. 🚶‍♀️

Different people.
Different communities.
One evening. So many connections.

From *“Nice to meet you”* to *“Let’s create something together.”* 🌱

That’s the magic of youth connection. 🫶

By Youth. For Youth. With Youth.

Big love to our collaborators

Today, we celebrate Thai National Mother’s Day (Wan Mae | วันแม่), observed annually on 12 August.

A special day to honor the love, strength, and dedication of mothers, while celebrating the birthday of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother, who is revered as the Mother of the Nation.

May this day remind us to appreciate the mothers and mother figures who continue to inspire, nurture, and shape generations.

สุขสันต์วันแม่ | Happy Thai National Mother’s Day! 🤍🇹🇭

☕ Every cup of coffee carries a story and every entrepreneur begins with a purpose.

Our recent webinar brought together two inspiring coffee entrepreneurs whose journeys demonstrated that passion, perseverance, and purpose can create meaningful impact far beyond business.

Mr. Borriruk Apikhantikul, Founder of School Coffee in Northern Thailand, shared how he transitioned from a career in engineering to following his passion for coffee. His journey reminds us that success is not always about staying on a predetermined path, but having the courage to pursue what truly matters. Through School Coffee, he has created not only a café but also a learning space that promotes coffee education while advocating for environmentally sustainable coffee cultivation.

From Timor-Leste, Mr. Nuno Ridenio, Founder of NR Company, Unip., Lda., reflected on how coffee can become a bridge between communities and opportunities. By combining entrepreneurship with a deep understanding of the coffee industry, he has built a business that attracts international recognition while contributing to local economic growth and community development.

This session reminded us that entrepreneurship is about more than building successful businesses—it is about creating value, empowering communities, and making sustainable choices that leave a lasting impact.

A heartfelt thank you to our distinguished speakers and all participants for making the discussion engaging, insightful, and inspiring. We look forward to continuing these meaningful conversations that connect young leaders across ASEAN and beyond.
