โรงเรียนอัสสัมชัญ ก่อตั้งโดยบาทหลวงเอมิลกอลมเบต์ ชาวฝรั่งเศสผู้เป็นสมาชิกในคณะมิสซังต่างประเทศแห่งกรุงปารีส และเป็นผู้ดำรงตำแหน่งเจ้าอาวาสวัดสวนท่าน (อาสนวิหารอัสสัมชัญในปัจจุบัน) โรงเรียนอัสสัมชัญเป็นโรงเรียนแรกของมูลนิธิคณะเซนต์คาเบรียลแห่งประเทศไทย เปิดทำการสอนอย่างเป็นทางการเมื่อวันที่ 16 กุมภาพันธ์ พ.ศ. 2428 (ค.ศ. 1885) โดยใช้ชื่อว่า "โรงเรียนอาซัมซานกอเล็ศ (COLLEGE DE L'ASSOMPTION)" ในปี พ.ศ

. 2444 (ค.ศ. 1901) คณะภราดาเซนต์คาเบรียล 5 ท่านแรก เดินทางมาจากประเทศฝรั่งเศษ เข้ามารับภารกิจการบริหารโรงเรียนต่อจากท่านบาทหลวงกอลมเบต์ ผู้มีภารกิจที่โบสถ์มากและชราภาพ ตลอดระยะเวลาที่ผ่านมาโรงเรียนได้พัฒนาการจัดการเรียนการสอนที่มีคุณภาพ ซื่อสัตย์ต่อปณิธานของโรงเรียน ที่มุ่งเน้นการให้ความรู้ควบคู่ไปกับหลักคุณธรรม รวมถึงความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคม ตามมรดกและลักษณะเฉพาะของการศึกษาเซนต์คาเบรียลเสมอมา

On 3 November 2024, the KMUTT Debate Society team from KMUTT Faculty of Engineering together with the other students of MUIC and CU competed at a friendly debate match also known as the TRIAD.

The debate match format on British Parliament with the theme Hysterical Hypotheticals. The activities included three friendly matches with powerups that made this debate exciting and ridiculously funny but interesting, there are brainstorming and sharing experiences from each participant.
