"Drops of Hope on Dry Land" is a documentary film about the struggle of the communities in some of the South Central East Timor Counties (TTS) to get clean water amid dry and hilly natural conditions. The film follows the story of children who have to walk long and through dangerous terrains to fetch water every day.
The documentary also highlights the joint effort to build various solutions, including the innovation of feeding well, which was first implemented at TTS. Thanks to teamwork, residents now have easy access to water, children are no longer late for school, and families are starting to grow vegetables in their yards.
This is the story of the real change of how access to clean water is bringing new hope to children and families in once dry lands.
