Our Mission
The mission of the Thai - Russian Alumni Association is to: unite alumni of former-USSR and Russia universities, assist and advance the alumni in the pursuit of excellence, continue the friendships formed in the university, build strong and mutually beneficial ties between the university and its diverse alumni, promote goodwill in the community and c
reate a dynamic alumni program that will stimulate interest, build loyalty, increase involvement and generate support for the university. The Thai - Russian Alumni Association does not seek to compete with existing alumni associations. Rather, it provides an overlay for them to come together under a generic ‘alumni’ umbrella. Maintain, update and manage the Alumni Records database and provide access and service to all University users.
2. Maintain an effective administrative program and sound financial operation.
3. Develop and maintain a marketing plan for a strong membership program, the Tradition Founders, and other service-oriented income areas.
4. Inform alumni and friends about the University and the Association through a comprehensive communications program.
5. Build and maintain strong relationships between the University, alumni, friends, and students.
6. Assist the University with the student recruitment effort. To achieve the goals the Thai - Russian Alumni Association will:
1. Provide opportunities for Thai - Russian Alumni Association in Thailand to network with business and academic leaders from both Thailand and Russia.
2. Facilitate sharing of information between Thai - Russian Alumni as to how their Russian education and experience has helped with their professional development.
3. Assist alumni of Russian universities (particularly those recently returning to Thailand from Russia) to make like-minded contacts and friends; and to find good partial or full employment, related to the knowledge of the Russian language.
4. promote the Russian Alumni program to key stakeholders with a view to co-opting them to participate in the Russian Alumni program. The Thai - Russian Alumni Association receives strong support from
the Russian Embassy in Bangkok
