Organised by the , the 3rd Smart Lighting Expo and the 17th Hong Kong International Lighting Fair (Spring Edition) brought together some 900 exhibitors and attracted some 13,000 buyers from 114 countries and regions for on-site visits and sourcing. Under the theme “Go Smart, Live Green”, the fairs showcased the latest innovative and sustainable solutions. This year’s twin lighting fairs featured a dynamic line-up of events, ranging from expert-led forums to networking receptions.

At the 79th Cannes Film Festival that opened in France this month, once again co-organised “Hong Kong Cinema @ CANNES 2026” with the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau (CSTB), the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (CCIDA) and the Film Development Council (FDC) to promote cross-regional co-production opportunities.

The Hong Kong Pavilion, staged at the Marché du Film, featured a strong line-up of film production and distribution companies, showcasing the strength and creative diversity of the city’s film industry. The programme included a series of industry panel discussions, project pitching sessions, networking events and the “Hong Kong Night”.

This year’s Asia Summit on Global Health ( ), jointly organised by the HKSAR Government and the , and the Hong Kong International Medical and Healthcare Fair (Medical Fair), organised by the HKTDC and co-organised by the Hong Kong MedTech Association, have concluded successfully.

As one of the two flagship events of International Healthcare Week, the ASGH gathered some 3,000 participants from 43 countries and regions, arranged over 400 one-to-one deal-making meetings and facilitated the signing of multiple cooperation agreements. Meanwhile, the Medical Fair welcomed some 13,000 buyers from 61 countries and regions for sourcing and networking. More than 670 business matching meetings were arranged during the fair, supporting buyers and exhibitors in identifying potential partners and advancing concrete business discussions.

Together, the two flagship events facilitated over 1,000 high-quality collaborations and connections, fully demonstrating the synergy between technology, investment and industry applications.

Textile Library, a textile innovation pioneer from Hangzhou, is once again in the spotlight at this year’s Fashion InStyle. Their return builds on the strong momentum gained from last year’s participation in the fair. They connected with Thai exhibitor Thai Num Choke Textile Company Limited, opening up opportunities for cross-border dialogue and supply chain exchange. Both parties are now actively exploring future collaboration opportunities. Day 2 of the Hong Kong International Licensing Show ( ) and Asian Licensing Conference ( ) continued with insightful sessions and dynamic showcases.
