Last week, a small group of members gathered at Curious Kanpai Tasting Room for Sake 101, a MyEO engagement event led by one of our own members.

Over a guided tasting, we explored different styles of sake and the culture behind them. With only ten seats, the evening stayed intimate and relaxed, an easy setting to learn something new and get to know each other better.

There's something special about a member sharing a craft they love with the rest of us. The passion in the room was genuine, and so were the conversations it sparked, the kind of night that reminds us how much we have to learn from one another.

MyEO is the part of EO that brings members together around shared interests and passions. Thank you to our host for sharing an evening with us.

The most important thing in the room is often the thing no one says out loud.

This week at The Westin Grande Sukhumvit, a full house of our members spent the evening with Dr. Trynh Phoraksa, criminologist and lecturer at Mahidol University, learning to read what tone, expression, posture, and the space between people quietly reveal. Spotting a micro-expression across a negotiation table. Sensing when words and feelings don't quite match. Understanding how distance itself shapes trust. It was one of the most engaging sessions we've run all year.

What made it land wasn't only the content. It was watching the room lean in, trade stories, and then decide, together, that this is a subject worth going deeper on as a chapter.

Because reading people isn't a skill just for criminologists. It's how we close the deal, yes, but also how we show up better with our partners, our teams, and our families.

Thank you, Dr. Trynh, for a night that will stay with us. 🖤

Meet the people carrying EO Thailand this year.

Behind every EO experience is a member who volunteered to build it. Our 2026–2027 board leads the chapter on top of running their own companies, and each of them creates value for the rest of us in a different way:

President: sets our direction for the year and backs every chair to deliver it.

Learning Chair: brings world-class and national-level speakers to our monthly learning events, plus the honest, up-close conversations that only happen among trusted peers.

Engagement Chair: creates the social moments that turn fellow members into real friends.

Finance Chair: keeps the chapter financially sound and every baht accountable, so we can keep investing in what matters most, our members.

Membership Chair: recruits, welcomes and guides new members through their first steps in EO.

Forum Chair: keeps every Forum healthy and places the right member into the right peer-to-peer circle.

And rounding out the board, our Communication, MyEO, Governance, Mentorship and GSEA Chairs keep the chapter connected inside and out, spark new common-interest circles, steward our core values, link experienced entrepreneurs with the next generation, and carry EO's global student entrepreneur program onto the world stage.

To everyone stepping into these roles: thank you for giving your time to this community. This is how EO stays home. 🖤

EO is a member-led organization, and days like this are why that matters.

Last week our outgoing and incoming boards sat down together for our annual EO Thailand Strategy Summit: a full working session to look honestly at what worked this year, what didn't, and where we're taking the chapter in 2026–2027. EO Global flew in a facilitator to guide us through it, and the room did the rest.

What struck us most wasn't the strategy on the wall. It was the passion in the room. Nobody in that room had to be there. Our members volunteer this time on top of running their own companies, because leading EO alongside other entrepreneurs is its own kind of learning. We put in the hours, and somehow we always walk away with more than we gave.

Warm, fun, sharp, and genuinely moving in places. A very good sign of the year ahead.

To our outgoing board, thank you for building the foundation we get to stand on. And to our incoming board, welcome. The room is behind you. 🖤

A great sharing session with Dr. Wit Sittivekin, a respected Thai public intellectual known for his sharp perspectives, where members were encouraged that clarity of thought is a real advantage, asking the right questions matters more than having quick answers and consistency in thinking builds lasting influence.

Across the 2026 EO APAC Presidents’ Meeting, it was energising to see how shared perspective sharpens leadership, how long-standing chapters continue to evolve by learning from one another and how real progress happens when connection comes before position. A meaningful few days that quietly reinforced why EO leadership matters at every stage. Thank you Khun May (our President) and Khun Team (our President-Elect) for representing EO Thailand and for showing up with heart, curiosity and commitment.

Mid-year Strategy Summit with EO Thailand to step back, challenge our own assumptions and sharpen how we show up for the next chapter. The conversations weren’t about chasing bigger numbers but about choosing clearer priorities, aligning long-term intent with everyday decisions, staying anchored in what truly matters as leaders and raising the bar on how consistently we execute, especially when things get busy. A timely reset that reminds us strategy is less about slides, and more about the discipline and mindset we bring into the room together.
