Yesterday during THAIDEF-EX 2026, the TEBA Defence Committee chaired by Mr. Pierre André, Managing Director of Leonardo Thailand—successfully brought together TEBA members and invited partners for a pivotal seminar on Thailand's evolving defence landscape.

The session provided a clear reading of Thailand's emerging defence industrial policy, mapping out concrete business and technology opportunities. It sparked practical, forward-looking discussions on dual-use innovation, sovereign capability, local industrial participation, technology transfer, and European-Thai cooperation.

A special thank you to our esteemed speakers:

- Dr. Pun-Arj Chairatana, TEBA Honorary Advisor and Chairman of the Board of Canvas Ventures International, for his incredible keynote address. His insights on Thailand's defence tech ecosystem and the dual-use pathway from commercial traction to defence qualification were invaluable.
