We ThaiWhales Group always recollect that ‘Whale’ is a
type of animal that travels and migrates all around, crossing many nation’s ocean boundaries. The reason for using the name “Thai Whales,” is purely for the purpose of waking up the conscious mind of the Thai people, making us realize about the value of this precious resources, which will expand to the benefits of the educational purposes. Ultimately, our goal isn’t to look after a group of whales, or so-called ‘someone’s whales,’ but to conserve the natural resources, the same resource the world shares. The multiple and constant Whale Observation Trips throughout many years has gave us many important information about the whales of the Upper Gulf of Thailand. They did not just use the Upper Gulf of Thailand as a bypass location for traveling purpose, but they “chose” The Upper Gulf of Thailand as the resident, to shelter and to breed the upcoming generation of Bryde’s Whale for the world. ThaiWhale therefore, is considered an important mission to create a network for sustainable conservation of “Thai Whales,” and “The Upper Gulf of Thailand.” This includes all of the resources of the ocean. We focus on supporting the education about the whales in every aspects, which will transform into a strong base for everything, because only the right set knowledge can lead to the right answer and the right actions.
