The STCC would like to thank MSC (Thailand) for the kind invitation to its MSC Customer & Partner Appreciation Evening.

STCC Executive Director, together with the Ambassador of Switzerland to Thailand, and the Embassy of Switzerland in Thailand team, joined the event to connect with industry representatives and gain insights into the future of shipping in Thailand.

The evening featured valuable perspectives from Khun Soren Toft, CEO of MSC Group, and Khun Weerachat Phuttharaksa, Deputy Director of Laem Chabang Port, Port Authority of Thailand, on the evolving maritime landscape and the future of Thailand’s shipping industry.

As Thailand continues to play an important role in regional and global trade, such exchanges provide valuable opportunities to better understand industry developments, explore emerging opportunities, and strengthen connections across the Swiss-Thai business community.

STCC extends its appreciation to MSC (Thailand) for bringing together its customers and partners for an evening of insightful discussions and meaningful connections.

Members of the STCC Board of Directors, Mr. Fabrice Filliez, Ambassador-Designate of Switzerland to Thailand, Cambodia and Lao PDR, and the STCC Executive Director were pleased to attend the Joint Embassies and Chambers Networking 2026, organised by the Joint Foreign Chambers of Commerce in Thailand (JFCCT) on 28 September at Pullman Bangkok King Power.

Bringing together ambassadors, embassy representatives, business leaders, and representatives from over 30 foreign chambers of commerce, the annual gathering provided an opportunity to strengthen relationships, exchange perspectives, and foster collaboration across Thailand’s diplomatic and international business communities.

STCC values the continued engagement with this network and the opportunities it creates for meaningful dialogue and closer cooperation among the Swiss, Thai, and wider international business communities.

Our congratulations to JFCCT on its 50th anniversary, and our sincere appreciation for its continued efforts in bringing together Thailand’s international business and diplomatic community.

The Swiss-Thai Chamber of Commerce was delighted to host STCC CONNECT: Welcoming New Ambassador at the Embassy of Switzerland in Thailand, bringing together members and partners of the Swiss–Thai business community for an evening of networking and connection.

The evening marked a warm welcome to Mr. Filliez Fabrice, Ambassador-Designate of Switzerland to Thailand, Cambodia and Lao PDR, as well as an opportunity to strengthen the connections that bring our community together. We were also pleased to welcome Mr. Fabian Stiefvater, Head of Swiss Business Hub Southeast Asia + Pacific, Switzerland Global Enterprise, whose presence further highlighted the importance of close cooperation across the Swiss–Thai business network.

It was wonderful to see such a strong turnout from our members and community. The continued collaboration between the Embassy of Switzerland, Switzerland Global Enterprise, and the STCC plays an important role in fostering connections, supporting businesses, and creating opportunities for the Swiss–Thai community.

Our sincere thanks to Ambassador-Designate Fabrice Filliez and the Embassy for warmly hosting us at the Swiss Residence, and to everyone who joined us and contributed to a memorable evening.

Last night, the STCC welcomed around 60 young professionals to September’s edition of 𝐒𝐓𝐂𝐂 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐍𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠: 𝐌𝐞𝐥𝐭 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 at IGNIV Bangkok.

As we head towards the end of the year, the evening was an invitation to slow down, step away from the rush, and simply enjoy being present.

Good food, good conversations, new faces and a great soundtrack; the evening had all the right ingredients. Delicious creations from IGNIV set the table, while chocolate from Läderach added a little sweetness. With the DJ keeping things moving, guests mingled, connected and enjoyed the night together.
