In 2019, the World Muaythai Council unified with IFMA into the International Federation of Muaythai Associations. At present there are 148 member countries with over 500,000 registered athletes. Muaythai is recognised by the International Olympic Committee, fully WADA compliant and included in many multi-sport games such as the World Games, European Games, Indoor Asian Games and the list goes on.

There is full gender equality and WMC with IFMA will continue to protect and promote the cultural heritage of muaythai as the sole recognised muaythai organisation in the Olympic movement.

Fresh off an impressive victory, Michaela Jorgensen returns to the Empire ring with one goal in mind – capturing WMC gold. Known for her technical skills, composure, and determination, she now faces the biggest opportunity of her career.

Standing opposite her is the highly accomplished Paris Rose. Having already tested herself against elite international opposition, including sharing the ring with the current world champion in her division, Rose now looks to add another chapter to her impressive career by becoming a two-division WMC State Champion.

Another exciting bout has been added to the stacked lineup at Empire Fight Series 13: Legacy, set to take place on Saturday, June 13th, with two hungry competitors looking to secure a breakthrough victory on one of Australia’s premier Muaythai stages.

Proudly sanctioned by the World Muaythai Council (WMC) and Muaythai Australia, the sole national federation recognised by the International Federation of Muaythai Associations (IFMA) in Australia, the event continues to showcase the country’s finest talent and rising stars.

Returning to the Empire ring is Noah Combes, who recently tested himself in a challenging four-man tournament and now looks to build on that experience. Determined and eager to make his mark, Combes enters the contest with a point to prove and his sights firmly set on his first Empire Fight Series victory.

Standing opposite him will be Zayd Zailani, fresh from an impressive and hard-fought main event victory in Adelaide. After suffering a first-round eight count, Zailani demonstrated tremendous resilience, battling back through adversity to earn the decision and showcase the heart and determination that have become hallmarks of his fighting style.

The city of Dormagen is set to host an exciting night of Muaythai action on 6 June as Best of the Best brings together some of Germany’s finest fighters alongside the next generation of rising stars.

Sanctioned by the World Muaythai Council (WMC) and MTBD, Germany’s sole member federation of the International Federation of Muaythai Associations (IFMA), the event will showcase the full spectrum of Muaythai talent, from grassroots development bouts to elite professional contests.

The event will feature established names from across Germany as well as promising young athletes looking to make their mark on the national and international stage. The event highlights the continued growth of Muaythai in Germany and the strong pathway being created for athletes to progress from amateur competition through to the professional ranks.

With a packed fight card and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of sporting excellence, Best of the Best promises to deliver an unforgettable showcase of authentic Muaythai.

The WMC is proud to support this event alongside MTBD, recognising the important role such competitions play in athlete development and the promotion of Muaythai values.

The stage is set in Monteodorisio as two of Italy’s finest female athletes prepare for an explosive showdown for the prestigious World Muaythai Council Italian Title.

Representing Action Team Meoni, Chiara Zoppi will square off against Beatrice Bertocci of Siam Gym Pistoia on May 26th at the Arena of Grace in what promises to be a high-intensity battle under full Muaythai rules.
