With over 14,000 members, it spans 456 chapters ("hubs") in 150 countries.

Born out of the World Economic Forum, Global Shapers is a network of inspiring young people under the age of 30 working together to address local, regional and global challenges. In each city, teams of Shapers self-organize to create projects that address the needs of their community. Projects are wide-ranging – from responding to disasters and combating poverty, to fighting climate change and bui

lding inclusive communities. Shapers are diverse in expertise, education, income, and race, but are united by their desire to bring about change. Between 18 and 30 years of age, the Global Shapers represent all walks of life and share a spirit of entrepreneurship in the global public interest. In Bangkok, our core impact areas are Health, Education, Sustainability, and COVID-19 Response.

Representing the Global Shapers Bangkok Hub as Impact Officer, Steven joined global conversations on the future of AI, work, technology, and regional development ❗️

His key takeaways included the growing role of AI in scientific discovery, the need to measure AI by its human impact, the rise of new ways of working, and China’s leadership in frontier technologies such as AI, robotics, and EVs. 🚗

As Co-Founder and CEO of Eateries Guessing, Steven continues to build innovative experiences that combine technology, gaming, and community engagement, while also leading initiatives to raise awareness around air pollution and environmental health challenges. 🏡🌐

What is Gum Lung Jai ?

Did you know that over 40% of Thais identify as "lonely"? At Global Shapers Bangkok, we believe in the power of authentic connection to combat isolation.

We are thrilled to invite you to our "Gum Lung Jai" (กำลังใจ) writing workshop — a pen pal initiative designed to bridge generational gaps and bring emotional healing through the art of letter writing.

Whether you want to make a new friend, share your story, or simply enjoy a "low-rush" afternoon of creativity, this event is for you. We’ll be matching participants with seniors at nursing homes (like Ban Bang Kae) to start meaningful, long-term pen pal relationships.

Who should join?
• Curious souls (16+ years old) who can commute to Bangkok and able to write ภาษาไทย
• Those who want to practice "authentic connection" without the pressure of instant replies.
• Anyone looking to send some "Gum Lung Jai" (encouragement) to those who need it most.
