🌏♿ APCD Visits Universal Foundation for Persons with Disabilities for Study Visit and Learning Exchange 📚✨

On 18 June 2026, APCD recently conducted a study visit to the Universal Foundation for Persons with Disabilities to learn more about its history, mission, and initiatives in promoting the empowerment and inclusion of persons with disabilities. 🤝💙

During the visit, participants were introduced to the Yimsoo Cafe ☕😊 and vocational training programs for persons with disabilities, including no-bake bakery training 🍞 and Japanese cooking training 🍱. These initiatives provide valuable opportunities for skill development, self-reliance, and employment.

The participants also learned about the work of Thailand Telecommunication Relay Service (TTRS Thailand) 📞♿, which supports communication accessibility for persons with hearing and speech disabilities through relay communication services.

The session was facilitated by Mr. Pavarut Rungarunsunthon, Public Relations Officer, who shared valuable information and insights about the foundation’s work and its efforts to create a more inclusive society.

✨ The visit provided an excellent opportunity to exchange knowledge and learn from good practices that contribute to improving the quality of life and expanding opportunities for persons with disabilities.

🌏♿ APCD เข้าเยี่ยมชมศึกษาดูงานและแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ ณ มูลนิธิสากลเพื่อคนพิการ 📚✨

วันที่ 18 มิถุนายน 2569 APCD ได้เข้าเยี่ยมชมศึกษาดูงาน ณ มูลนิธิสากลเพื่อคนพิการ เพื่อเรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับประวัติความเป็นมา พันธกิจ และการดำเนินงานด้านการส่งเสริมศักยภาพและการมีส่วนร่วมของคนพิการในสังคม 🤝💙

☕😊 ในการเยี่ยมชมครั้งนี้ คณะผู้เข้าร่วมได้รับฟังข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับ ยิ้มสู้คาเฟ่ (Yimsoo Cafe) และโครงการฝึกอาชีพสำหรับคนพิการ ซึ่งประกอบด้วยการฝึกทำเบเกอรีแบบไม่ใช้เตาอบ 🍞 และการฝึกทำอาหารญี่ปุ่น 🍱 เพื่อส่งเสริมการพัฒนาทักษะ การพึ่งพาตนเอง และโอกาสในการประกอบอาชีพ

📞♿ นอกจากนี้ คณะผู้เข้าร่วมยังได้เรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับการดำเนินงานของ ศูนย์บริการถ่ายทอดการสื่อสารแห่งประเทศไทย (Thailand Telecommunication Relay Service: TTRS Thailand) ซึ่งช่วยสนับสนุนการเข้าถึงการสื่อสารของคนพิการทางการได้ยิน ผ่านบริการถ่ายทอดการสื่อสารที่ช่วยเชื่อมโยงการสื่อสารได้อย่างเท่าเทียม

🎤 การบรรยายและให้ข้อมูลในครั้งนี้ได้รับเกียรติจาก คุณปวรุตม์ รุ่งอรุณ เจ้าหน้าที่ประชาสัมพันธ์ เป็นผู้ถ่ายทอดความรู้และแบ่งปันประสบการณ์เกี่ยวกับการดำเนินงานของมูลนิธิฯ รวมถึงแนวทางการสร้างสังคมที่ครอบคลุมสำหรับทุกคน

✨ การศึกษาดูงานครั้งนี้นับเป็นโอกาสอันดีในการแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้และเรียนรู้แนวปฏิบัติที่ดี ซึ่งจะเป็นประโยชน์ต่อการพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตและการขยายโอกาสให้แก่คนพิการในสังคมต่อไป

Disabled speak on how Chinese modernization can serve equal access

Five people with disabilities took the podium at a government news conference in Beijing on Friday to encourage their peers to contribute fully to the nation's modernization drive. The speakers shared personal stories of overcoming barriers in transport, tourism, employment and the arts.

🏢 Participants learned about APCD’s work in disability-inclusive development and visited the Accessible Building/Universal Design facilities, APCD 60+ Bakery and Chocolate Café, and APCD 60+ Kitchen. 🍞🍫👨‍🍳

🌱 The program also introduced Disability-Inclusive Disaster Risk Reduction (DIDRR), promoting the inclusion of persons with disabilities in disaster preparedness and response. 🌪️♿

📅 On 16 June 2026, APCD was pleased to welcome Mr. Panutat Yodkaew, Counsellor; Ms. Jutamas Nuntiya, Human Resource Officer; and a group of students from Thailand’s southern border provinces under the program of the Devawongse Varopakarn Institute of Foreign Affairs (DVIFA). 🤝🇹🇭

🎤 Mr. Piroon Laismit, Executive Director of APCD, delivered a welcome address and introduced APCD’s mission and initiatives in promoting the empowerment and inclusion of persons with disabilities. ♿💙

🏢✨ The visit featured presentations by Mr. Watcharapol Chuengcharoen, Ms. Siriporn Praserdchat, and Ms. Supaanong Panyasirimongkol, as well as guided tours of several APCD projects, including the Accessible Building/Universal Design facilities, APCD 60+ Bakery and Chocolate Café 🍞🍫, and APCD 60+ Kitchen 👨‍🍳🍽️.

🌱 Participants also learned about Disability-Inclusive Disaster Risk Reduction (DIDRR) 🌪️♿, highlighting the importance of ensuring that persons with disabilities are included in disaster preparedness, response, and recovery efforts.

💡🌈 The visit provided an opportunity for students to gain a deeper understanding of disability-inclusive development and the importance of building an inclusive society where everyone can participate equally.
