Our Team Civic Literacy Myanmar had made something impactful project📍

At the Thailand–Myanmar border, something truly beautiful happened. 💚
Young people came together to learn, share, and reflect on what identity really means — beyond nationality, beyond language, beyond bias.

Through honest conversations and creative sessions, they explored who they are, what they value, and how they can build understanding across differences.
We talked about power, gender, displacement, wellbeing, and the importance of education — but most of all, we listened to each other’s stories.

Their openness, laughter, and courage reminded us that empathy has no borders.
We saw students supporting one another, teachers cheering them on, and communities coming together with so much heart.

A huge thank-you to everyone — our amazing facilitators Khun Sint Phoo Wai ,Aung Si Kyaw, teachers, students, and local partners — who made this journey possible. 🙏

And this isn’t the end. We’re continuing the journey with our upcoming mentorship program, where young voices will keep growing and creating change, one story at a time. 💫

🇺🇳 Civic Literacy Myanmar at United Nations Headquarters 🇺🇳

၂၀၂၅ အောက်တိုဘာလ ၁၀ ရက်နေ့တွင် နယူးယောက်မြို့ရှိ အပြည်ပြည်ဆိုင်ရာ အဖွဲ့အစည်းများအဖွဲ့ (United Nations Headquarters)တွင် ကျင်းပခဲ့သော “UN General Assembly Third Committee Youth Event” တွင် “Civic Literacy Myanmar” ကိုယ်စားပြု၍ Founder : Andrea Win သည် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ ကိုယ်စားပြုပါဝင်ခဲ့ပါသည်။

ဤအစည်းအဝေးသည် “Building Solutions Together for an Inclusive Future”ဟူသော ခေါင်းစဉ်ဖြင့် ကျင်းပပြီး၊ တစ်ကမ္ဘာလုံးမှ လူငယ်ခေါင်းဆောင်များ၊ သံအမတ်များနှင့် ဆုံးဖြတ်ချက်ချသူများကို တစ်နေရာတည်းတွင်စုစည်းကာ လူမှုဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုးတက်မှု၊ လူငယ်ပါဝင်မှုနှင့် မူဝါဒဆွေးနွေးမှုများတွင် အပြန်အလှန်တက်ကြွစွာပါဝင်နိုင်ခြင်း အကြောင်းကို ဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ကြပါသည်။

Civic Literacy Myanmar ၏ ကိုယ်စားလှယ်အဖြစ် ကလေးငယ်များ၏ ပညာရေးအခွင့်အလမ်းများ တိုးတက်အောင်မြင်ရေး အတွက် CLM ၏ မစ်ရှင်နှင့် ဗီရှင်ကိုဖော်ပြခဲ့ပါသည်။

ဤအခမ်းအနားကို ဖန်တီးပေးခဲ့သည့် “Major Group for Children and Youth (MGCY), UNGA Third Committee Secretariat နှင့် ထိုင်းနိုင်ငံသံအမတ်ကြီး H.E. Amb. Cherdchai Chaivaivid တို့အား ကျေးဇူးတင်ရှိပါသည်။

၁၆ရက်တာလှုပ်ရှားမှုရဲ့ တစ်စိတ်တစ်ပိုင်းအနေနဲ့ USAID ဟာ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံရှိ မသန်စွမ်းသူတွေအတွက် အားလုံးပါဝင်နိုင်တဲ့ပညာရေးကို ပံ့ပိုးပေးရတာ ဂုဏ်ယူပါတယ်။ ခန့်မှန်းခြေအားဖြင့် မသန်စွမ်းသူဦးရေ ၅.၉ သန်းခန့် နေထိုင်နေပြီး ဒီလူတွေဟာ အထူးသဖြင့် လက်ရှိဖြစ်ပွားနေတဲ့ ပဋိပက္ခတွေနဲ့ နေရပ်စွန့်ခွာရတာတွေအကြားမှာ ကြီးမားတဲ့စိန်ခေါ်မှုတွေကို ရင်ဆိုင်နေရပါတယ်။

သန်စွမ်းမှုအခြေအနေဘယ်လိုပဲဖြစ်နေဖြစ်နေ လူတိုင်းပညာသင်ယူခွင့်ရရှိရေးနဲ့ သူတို့ရဲ့အိပ်မက်တွေ လက်တွေ့ဖြစ်လာရေးကို သေချာစေဖို့ လက်လှမ်းမီနိုင်တဲ့ပညာသင်ယူရေးဝန်းကျင်တွေဖန်တီးပေးတာ၊ အသက်မွေးဝမ်းကျောင်းသင်တန်းတွေပေးတာတွေကို USAID/ Burma ဟာ ပြည်တွင်းအဖွဲ့အစည်းတွေနဲ့ မိတ်ဖက်ဖွဲ့ဆောင်ရွက်နေပါတယ်။ အတားအဆီးတွေကို ဖြိုခွဲပြီး ဘယ်သူမှ မကျန်ရစ်ခဲ့မယ့် အနာဂတ်ကို အတူတကွ တည်ဆောက်နေပါတယ်။

As part of the 16 Days of Activism campaign, USAID is proud to support inclusive education for people with disabilities in Myanmar. With an estimated 5.9 million people living with disabilities, these individuals face significant challenges, especially amidst ongoing conflict and displacement.

USAID/Burma partners with local organizations to create accessible learning environments and provide vocational training, ensuring that everyone—regardless of ability—can pursue their education and achieve their dreams. Proud to Announce: Yay Kyi Yar II – Gender and Health Empowerment Project!

As a YSEALI Younified Grant Winning Extended Project, Yay Kyi Yar II will take place this December, organized by Civic Literacy Myanmar grant awarded by US Embassy Rangoon. 🤗

Persons with disabilities often face limited access to formal education and lack awareness of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR).This has led to:
🎯 Teenage pregnancies,
🎯 Increased vulnerability to sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and
🎯 Risks of sexual exploitation.

To address these challenges, we will host an “Advanced Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) Training”aimed at empowering persons with disabilities with the knowledge and resources to lead healthier, informed lives.
